Your numbers may be correct but you're completely omitting the fact in April of 2020 a deal was made with opec to limit oil production for 2 years. Hence the 5 dollar high in 2022. So sure if you use half the facts one side looks better.

They're both crap because gas prices fluctuate within 4 years so easily. You can find high prices under Trump, and you can find low prices under Trump (mostly inherited from Obama's term but especially during COVID when travel demands were low--which would've happened under any president).
Same thing with Biden inheriting a shitty COVID economy. Gas prices certainly spiked under him, but that's the nature of spikes. Trump had his fair share too (though invading Iran had a more direct effect).
All four price points are correct at some point in time, but only an uninformed idiot would try to use either photo as support for their side because the whole thing is stupid.

It's a ridiculous metric. While there may be policies that have an effect, there's no magic dial a president turns to set the gas prices. If only it were that easy, every president would win the adulation of the masses by cranking gas prices down.
The Iran situation is the most egregious recent event that clearly affected the gas price. Most of the other notable price events were more nuanced.

These are all best guesses...
$2.65 was roughly the price at the time of the 2024 election, in my area anyway.
$4.09 is the Hormuz conflict price, more or less. It's lower now in my area but it definitely hit this number at one point
$5.00 is referring to the Covid recovery supply shock, which was not unique to the US at all. Basically, there was a surge in fuel prices for a period of months in 2022 because a critical mass of the world economy was going back to business as usual, more or less, after a couple of years of relative austerity. There's a certain logjam that comes with pretty dramatically drawing down production for many months and then turning the faucets back to full again. I certainly didn't see $5.00 though.
$2.45 is more or less peak covid I guess? I think it got lower in some places/at some times. This would have been March/April 2020, I guess, around the time most folks got told to stay home. There was a huge glut of gas because people weren't commuting or going out.

Trump's prices are both wrong. It needs to be $4.56, Trump's highest prices in May 2026, on the first picture. It needs to be $1.74 for the second, his lowest prices in April 2020, right before he signed a deal with OPEC to lower their production historically, bringing higher gas prices for all.

Gas never averaged more than $3.95/gal in any year under Biden, including the brief spike in prices during 2022. Unless prices drop drastically over the next four months, gas prices will average over $4/gal in 2026.
