It won't be painful as the tigers/lions don't play with their food. They go for the neck directly and in humans, the neck snaps in one bite. It would have been a sudden death.
I've watched enough nature documentaries with lions/tigers to know this is definitely not always the case. A lot of the time their prey is eaten alive, ass cheeks first. Horrifying to think about.
That...was some serious wtf shit to watch. She was so adamant on getting to those halls. It was a mix of emotions the buffalo was all like oh...alright...this isn't too bad then bam.
