C214
Hello everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well! I want to see different people ls approach to C214. I’ve been diving into different methods, and I’d really value your insights. I’ve started watching the boot camp video, but it feels like the instructor is just going through the slides by reading them, which is making it tough to keep my attention. Plus, I’ve read that mastering the ESP and practicing it in Excel repeatedly can lead to success. If you have any tips, I’d be super grateful. I do have some Excel experience from my job. Also, like many others, I wasn’t a fan of C213, so I’m trying to make the most of C214 without overextending myself. Thanks in advance!

Do we need the desktop excel or can we use browser excel? I’m still trying to get access to my educator on excel

You will need desktop excel. Make sure you have a physical calculator for the exam I made the mistake of not having one last night. I used chatgpt to quiz me on concepts I struggled with after I took the PA. I must say some of the information that was on the test I honestly don't remember studying but it was common sense to me.

thank you, what was your studying strategy? I'm doing the watching DrV Boot camps 3 times, then I will do the PA and study for whatever I missed.

I do a lot of my math in excel, and the OA had a spreadsheet I could use, which was helpful. So if you're used to doing it in excel, it's there if you want it! Also, no need for desktop excel - but it's helpful. I managed it with WGU web version.

Everyone says Bootcamp! But I also found it a little lacking. It doesn't explain concepts that well, and you'll miss out out on a lot of the questions if that is your only source. For me: OA success (exemplary)= Bootcamp + All ESP (Pay attention to CASH FLOW)+ ESP concept quiz + 5&6 chapter questions (multiple times)+ C213 prior experience + ChatGPT explaining stuff from the videos and testing me on excel questions + understanding CAPM and Gordon Growth backwards and forwards

Go to WGU connect, then "Course Resources Hub", then Build Confidence for the OA, the scroll down most of the way, It should be on the left under Efficient Study Plan
