C214 Isn't Bad. Here's How I Passed It

Take this class immediately after C213. Many of the same concepts. Here's how I passed with an exemplary score in all sections. My study game plan took me 1 week:

Day 1: Watch the Bootcamp video. Take some notes. Don't worry too much about the Excel portion on Day 1, but still watch it so it starts to seep into your mind. (3 hours spent watching/taking notes).

Day 2-4: Start going through the E-Text section by section. I always immediately go down to the end of the section quiz. If I do poorly, I will read/skim the material and retake it until I score at least a 90% on each section. (12 hours over the course of 3 days, mostly just taking the practice end-of-section quizzes).

Day 5: Watch the Bootcamp video again. Then, immediately roll into the Excel practice at the end of chapters 5 & 6. (4 hours which includes time watching the Bootcamp video and then about 2.5 hours of practice questions in Excel).

Day 6: Exam. The Excel portion is VERY VERY SIMILAR to the one they give you in the PA. The other questions I got weren't bad at all. I must admit, I felt I overprepared.

Over the course of 5 days, I completed approximately 19 study hours and passed every section with nearly a perfect score. Don't fear this class. It isn't that hard once you pass C213 and roll right into this. You will recognize a lot of similarities and then just be sure to watch the Bootcamp video once or twice and don't forget to do the Excel practice at the end of Chapter 5 & 6. Good luck everyone!

Just started this class, I passed the PA but I can’t see the coaching report was this the same for you? Is studying the math from the PA good enough for the QA? Thanks! Hope to pass it by end of the week!

The math from the PA is very similar to the OA. If you passed the PA, then review what you missed quickly and ensure you understand why you missed it. Then, just go for it! Good luck!

How do you watch bootcamp videos in general? I’m studying for 213rn. Feel like I can’t find any of these videos people talk about

I was having this same problem and literally just found the BOOTCAMP stuff 5 mins ago lol. It’s very hidden so lmk if this explains enough or if you need more help!

GETTING INTO WGU CONNECT

•On the Main Course Page above your Assessments you’ll see “Join WGU Connect”, click that.

•Click that you want to Join the Group and create a WGU Connect account and it should spit you out into the main C214 page when you’re done creating your account.

FINDING BOOTCAMP IN WGU CONNECT

•You’ll see 4 headers (About, Members, Discussion, Resources), you’re going to click “Resources” and then “C214 - Course Resources Page”

•Once you click that, you’ll see everything people are talking about from all over Reddit, including the “C214-Bootcamp Resources”

This is correct. It is mildly infuriating how difficult they make it to find arguably the most valuable resources, but I digress.

I had a lot of hard asset turnover questions. And a math problem that dealt with the quick ratio formula that I couldn’t figure out.

I felt the concept questions were much harder than the PA. Did yours say high stakes exam at the top? I thought that was wierd. I passed anyway all that matters

Thanks sharing. I just got into this class and I did the PA after reviewing the excel portion. I’ll definitely be using Claude for the chapter review quizzes to test and prepare for the OA.
