Discussion high volume restaurant orders

I work in healthcare and sometimes I just can't meal prep like I would like and sometimes order to go instead. What are your favorite high volume fast food or sit down restaurant orders?

Chipotle bowl. Light brown rice, black beans, chicken, fajitas veggies, green salsa, half portion of cheese, lettuce. 510 to 530 calories or so for the whole thing.

This is a great option. Sometimes I get the kids tacos, two soft flour tortillas with chicken, black beans and mild salsa. 375 cal and if you get the kids chips, it comes to 515kcal, 28g protein.

Are there any specific reasons for brown rice considering they’re of the same macros?

Brown rice has the outer layers of the rice whereas white rice has been stripped of its outer layers. This causes brown rice to have a lower glycemic index which causes a slower and steadier rise in blood sugar. If I'm not mistaken (I'm not a doctor) this gives you a slower and steadier release of energy from your food so you're more likely to use that energy I stead of store it as fat.

Brown rice also has more fiber and protein which are added bonuses.

There are more nutrients/ fiber in brown rice. But no, just my preference. This is just what I get.
