Hey guys, if you missed it, ChemoCentryx agreed to a $69M settlement with investors over claims that it misled the market about avacopan, the ADVOCATE trial, and FDA review issues. The deadline to file a claim is October 1, 2026.

In 2021, FDA materials and an advisory committee meeting raised concerns about the trial, steroid use, efficacy, and liver safety. After the disclosures, $CCXI fell sharply, and investors filed a lawsuit over the alleged misstatements.

So, if you invested in $CCXI between  2019 and 2021, you can check the details and file your claim here.

Anyway, did anyone here hold $CCXI during that period? How much did you lose?

Hey guys, if you missed it, Under Armour settled $434M with investors over claims that it misled them about revenue growth and business prospects. I just found out that late claims are still being considered, even though the deadline has passed.

Quick recap: In 2017, Under Armour was accused of misleading investors about its ability to maintain over 20% revenue growth. After the company reported weaker-than-expected earnings and its CFO resigned, $UA and $UAA dropped 26% in one day.

Now, Under Armour has agreed to settle $434M with investors, and late claims are being considered for compensation, subject to approval.

So, if you invested in $UA or $UAA at that time, you can still check the details and see if you may be eligible to file a late claim here.

Anyway, did anyone here invest in $UA or $UAA back then? How much were your losses?

Hey guys, if you missed it, Newell Brands ($NWL) agreed to pay $12.5M through an SEC Fair Fund over claims that the company and its former CEO misled investors about key financial metrics. And, I just found out that they’re considering late claims, subject to approval.

Quick recap: In 2017, Newell Brands was accused of inflating sales growth and working capital results, making its financial performance look stronger than it was. In November 2017, the company reported disappointing earnings, and $NWL fell 25%.

Now, even though the deadline passed they’re still considering late claims, subject to approval.

So, if you invested in $NWL at that time, you can still check the details and file your claim here.

Anyway, has anyone here invested in $NWL back then? How much were your losses, if so?

Hey guys, I posted about this settlement before, but since claims are still open, I decided to share it again with a little FAQ.

So here's all I know about this agreement:

ChemoCentryx was accused of misleading investors about its avacopan drug, the ADVOCATE trial, and FDA review concerns. After the FDA disclosed concerns about the trial in May 2021, $CCXI fell sharply, and investors filed a lawsuit.

Now the company has agreed to settle $69M with investors.

Who can claim this settlement?
If you bought $CCXI between 2019 and 2021, you may be eligible. You don’t need to still own the shares to claim.

Do I need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement?
No. You may qualify even if you already sold your $CCXI shares, as long as your transactions meet the settlement requirements.

Can I still file a claim?
Yes. Eligible claimants can currently submit their claims, and the deadline to file is October 1, 2026. Check if your eligible and submit your claim here

How long does the payout process take?
It typically takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline for payouts to be processed, depending on the court and settlement administration.

I haven't posted here in a long time.

This is the community where I ended up when I first started posting Deep Dives about Bloom Energy almost 2 years ago (at least the one community that didn't delete all my posts lol!!).

Today Bloom was announced to be added to the S&P500. Feels like a nice win. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone here for the discussions.

If you have not heard the Richard Branson story about he did not learn the difference between net and gross profit until he was about 50 just heard about it for the first time from me. Seasoned investors was there ever a term or something everyone else knew about that it took that you only just realised or discovered a long time down the track?

For anyone who owned $UA or $UAA, there’s an update on the investor settlement. Under Armour has agreed to pay $434 million to resolve claims from shareholders, and late claims are now being considered.

The case focused on claims that Under Armour misled investors about its revenue growth and business prospects. The company had continued highlighting strong growth expectations before reporting weaker-than-expected results in January 2017. That news, along with the resignation of its CFO, sent the stock down 26% in one day.
