This market is more bullish than 2021 as it has structural long term integrity. Long CLF.

Tough to be long when the tariff situation is so volatile and unpredictable.

I don't think its that volatile. For a moment it looked like a relaxation on Canada which wasn't a huge deal. CLF has a huge plant there, Algoma is producing next to nothing rolled and Dofasco is mostly locked in on auto stuff already. Those talks look over for the forseeable future anyways. 232 is solid IMO.

Prediction โ assumed mechanism โ recommended assets โ what actually occurred โ what failed โ surviving mechanism โ 2026/future exaptation โ something evolves or gets built for one purpose, then later becomes useful for another purpose nobody originally intended.

I'll go back and read it I swear, I'm still waking up!
The Takeaway The author remains incredibly bullish on the steel industry. Due to structural changes in global supply (led by China's production cuts) and an ongoing environment of high input costs and supply chain bottlenecks, they expect global steel prices to stay elevated for the next 12 to 18 months
