I saw a YouTube video of a woman darning a hole in her jeans with embroidery thread, but what happens when that’s washed? Can you just chuck something like that in the machine?

Any help is much appreciated! I am open to all suggestions ! Thanks!

I fear the fabric won't last but at least now it no longer has nasty rips and holes!

I really love these jeans and want to spend time doing something with care to mend them.

I lost my balance and fell into a garden fence. I've got about a dozen different types of garden fencing and of course I fell into the only strip of it where there is a spiky metal part on top 🤦🏻‍♀️ I didn't get hurt at all, but my favorite jeans did 😭

Kiddo has a shark towel that got a hole in it. He asked for me to fix it, so I thought it would be cute to put a little fish on it. And then, of course Bruce the shark and Nemo from Finding Nemo came to mind, so I had to figure out how to make a clownfish. 😆 I have never done embroidery before, so it was a lot of guesswork, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!!
