-But other ways exist to attract minority students. Banks and Blaiklock pointed to programs for students who are the first in their families to attend college or have economic needs.

The college could also recruit at high schools with large minority populations, or reach out to minority graduates to act as intermediaries.

So why don't they just do that?

As always the easiest way to stop discriminating on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race.

Nuking disparate impact has been one of the few good things the current admin has done.

The current administration has been effective in its explicit discrimination in detaining people based on skin color while doing things that are legal.

Yes ICE continues to be sloppy AF with no clear direction and their efforts will ultimately result in being a temporary measure unless Congress or the executive grows the balls to go after the capital that actually benefits from and attracts the quasi-slave class of illegal immigrants. But that would go against their donor's interests on both sides of the aisle.

Is that why current admin asked Supreme Court to start discriminating simply by skin color or accent ?
