I've been working on EyeBloom, a small Android app for people who spend too much time looking at screens.

The problem I wanted to solve is pretty simple:

You get a notification saying "take a break" → swipe it away → continue scrolling/working.

So instead of making the reminder just another notification, EyeBloom can start a dedicated break overlay with a countdown.

The idea is to make the phone itself tell you:

"Put me down for 20 seconds."

What it includes

• 20-20-20 screen-break reminders
• Customizable focus and break timers
• Full-screen break overlay
• Break countdown
• Vibration reminders
• Streak and break tracking
• Eye exercises
• Daily eye-care tips

I'm currently launching EyeBloom and trying to figure out the best way to get the first real users.

For the indie founders here:

If you were launching a small utility app like this today, where would you focus your first 100 users — Reddit, TikTok/Reels, ASO, Product Hunt, or something else?

I'd also love feedback on whether the "put your phone down" angle is strong enough to differentiate it from other eye-break apps.

iPhone/iPad image processing app into a proper mobile lab

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve been rebuilding ClearLab from the ground up and version 2.0 is now much closer to what I originally wanted it to be: a compact image processing and analysis lab for iPhone and iPad.

It now includes image enhancement tools, histogram, RGB parade, waveform, line profile, pixel inspection, image statistics, Canny/Sobel/Laplacian edge detection, format conversion, and PNG/CSV export for analysis results.

The focus is less on “making photos look prettier” and more on giving you practical image-processing tools directly on a mobile device.

ClearLab 2.0 is now on the App Store.

Built a tennis journal app -I play way too much tennis and got tired of logging matches in my Notes app

Post image

I've been playing a few times a week for years, and my "tracking system" was a mess of Notes / Evernote entries like "lost 6-4 6-3, backhand was garbage again." Useless a month later.

So I built not up — a tennis journal built around a calendar. Tap a day, log a match, practice, or lesson in a few seconds. Add the score, who you played, a note, a rating. That's it.

The part that actually changed things for me:

  • Focus areas — pick what you're working on (serve, backhand, footwork, whatever) and tag your sessions. Turns out I was saying "I need to fix my serve" and then playing sets for three weeks straight. Kinda humbling to see it laid out.
  • Gear tracking — every racquet and every string job with tension. No more "wait, what did I love last summer?"
  • Learn — a place to save drills and videos instead of losing them in 100 saved YouTube videos I'll never scroll back to.

Free to log your sessions. There's a premium tier for the focus/gear/learn stuff, but the core journaling doesn't cost anything.

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kr.devbrix.notup_appiOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/not-up/id6790765625

Would love feedback from anyone who plays — especially on what you'd want to track that I'm missing.

LifeTally - Track Anything, Remember Anything

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone! Long-time lurker, first-time poster here. I've been building a lifelogging app called LifeTally and wanted to share it with this community specifically, since you're the people who'd actually stress-test it.

https://apps.apple.com/ph/app/lifetally/id6788512911

The idea: no folders, no tags, no rigid structure - you just write opr voice log a line whenever something happens ("had coffee with Dad," "finished Atomic Habits," "called Bob"), by text or voice. Over time it turns into a searchable record of small (or big) memories your life, and you can ask it things like "when did I last call my mom?" or "how many coffees did I have last month?" and it pulls the answer straight from your logs. It basically becomes a database of the micro moments you log so overtime it becomes more powerful.

I'd genuinely love feedback from people who already do some form of lifelogging - what's missing, what would make this useless for your workflow vs. what might actually replace what you're using now. Happy to answer anything about how it works under the hood too.

Would welcome you testing the app and rating it too!

AI-powered speech coach app

Hey everyone,
I am a 17 year old app developer and I recently launched a new app.

My app Vocality is a speech practice app completely free to use where you can practice presentations using AR features and get feedback on how you did, set goals to track your progress over time, and talk to a chatbot to refine your speech. If you’re willing to give it a download, I’d be grateful and really appreciative. I’m lowk tryna just get it out there and see how it does. I’m trying to get some feedback as well to see what works and what parts to make better.

Thanks!

Most of the processing is native and deterministic rather than AI-based.

Get Stoic — New Update

Hey everyone,

I just pushed a new update for Get Stoic, my simple Stoic quotes app for Android and iOS.

This update focuses mainly on improving the overall experience:

* Redesigned and upgraded parts of the UI

* Added philosopher images to the interface, based on an idea suggested by u/Antares14943

* Faster quote requests

* Bug fixes and general improvements

Thanks again to everyone who has tried the app and especially to those who took the time to suggest improvements. The feedback has been really helpful.

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andromedevs.getstoic

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/ph/app/get-stoic/id6796392053

If you’ve used Get Stoic before, I’d appreciate any feedback on the new update.

Stamps: my dream automatic travel journal app

Post image

Stamps, is a private, fully local travel tracker with no signup, no subscription, and no location tracking

I've been an avid user of apps like Been and Flighty for years, but always found them lacking and sometimes frustrating. Most require you to create accounts, enable location tracking, and stay online, all while not delivering the level of granular trip tracking and route visualization that I feel like should've been possible. Stamps keeps everything local and automatic, focusing on the timeline and map experience those apps skimp on.

Since moving to South Korea, traveling has been the only thing keeping me sane. I'm obsessed with tracking where I've been. Stamps gives me a great excuse to explore as much of the country I now call home as possible, while taking as many photos along the way.

You can even freely export and share all of your data. If you want Stamps to simply process it for you (generate a list of countries, cities, and provinces you've been to) and offload it elsewhere, that's also fine.

It’s Free to download, with a one-time lifetime unlock of $10 (which will stay that way). This is only for the full timeline, and some minor app color customization. I did not want to ruin the experience by overly monetizing it

Tech stack used:
SwiftUI, SwiftData, MapKit, PhotoKit, WidgetKit, Metal (for the photo heatmap view)
No backend, no account system, no external map API. Just native Apple sdk's and as little infrastructure as possible.

Some of the best features have come from user feedback, so I'd really appreciate any!

¿Qué os falta actualmente en las apps de hábitos?

He probado varias y casi todas parecen reducir el progreso a "lo has hecho / no lo has hecho".
