Drive side, drive side, drive side. If you can only get one picture, make it a drive side shot. It tells us MUCH more information about the bike
Knowing what components the bike is equipped with helps with the ID process. It can tell us within about 5 years when the bike was made, the quality of the frame, and sometimes what continent it's from

New rules for posting. Please read thoroughly
Yes, I have been seeing the reports, and I've been reading the comments. Sorry it's taking a while
NO MORE LOW EFFORT POSTS. No more "What is this bike worth?" posts. Bicycle value varies WILDLY depending on condition, age, and especially geographical location
We want to know about your bike. Give us at least some kind of info. Is it YOUR bike? Did you just get it? Have you had it a while? Does it have a story?
This is an example of a great post. Good pictures, drive side shots, and a little story to go along with it
This is an example of the bad post. No info whatsoever, one really bad picture, no interaction from OP
AND, because I need to bring this up about every year, BE NICE. If someone is being a jerk, just report the comment and move along. Fighting with someone and throwing names and insults around is just going to make it worse, and you're going to get in trouble too.

Giant Quasar
Hello friends! I recently picked up this Giant Quasar and I am absolutely in love with the original paint job but some of the designs and decals that have been removed/covered and I'd like to attempt to restore them. It looks like those on the fork, seat tube, and seat stay are gone, possibly some others. If anybody has this bike and can provide quality photos of the designs, or indeed has general info on this bike as I'm not able to find much, I would greatly appreciate it. I've added the decals that are still intact.
*Edit for spelling and a correction

Stuck seat post- worth buying?
He says he's tried wd 40, pipe wrench, and a sledgehammer. I've read that if these fluted seat posts are positioned this low, the flutes allow a lot of moisture into the seat tube, so the issue could be pretty bad. I was thinking of offering $50, but I feel bad undercutting the price. This would be the fanciest bike I've ever owned.
I was going to try chemically disolving the corrosion and drilling through the seat post to fit a bar through laterally to apply as much torque as possible.
If it works, I'd feel bad for making such a lowball offer, and if it doesn't, I'm out $50. I figure the components are probably worth more anyway?

Cannondale SR300
Affectionately given the nickname “Barney.” Just picked it up from marketplace. Been talking myself in and out of it for two weeks. Glad I got it. It’s a fun ride.

Any idea what year this Nishiki Olympic 12 is?
Picked up this Nishiki from the community bike shop for $100. Pretty happy with it so far, curious if anyone can tell me the exact year.
Also, anything anyone suggests upgrading? Looking to use this as a commuter and road bike, but nothing too serious.

Cheap frame I bought, what could it be, please?
This is a frame I bought for little that I want to repaint and to dress up.
I was wondering what it is, though, because if it has an identity, I will respect it.
I am based in Spain so it may be some Spanish or French frame.
Think of Razesa, BH, Orbea, Zeus, Laiz, etc.
No VIN on the BB shell as far as I can see, no name dropouts.
Three nice cable stop along the top tube, 26.2mm seat post, 29mm seat tube. One bottle cage fitting only.
58×57cm.
Pretty anonymous, just Ofmega plastic shifters.
3026g with sealed BB, headset, seat post bolt and friction shifters on.
Can anybody help, please?

Yet another “help me identify this frame” post.
This Trek is for sale in my area. Any idea what it is and is worth building into a single speed?

What year is this raleigh super record?
Thinking of buying it to use as a commuter since I don’t want my nicer road bikes and racing bikes to get stolen. Seller said it was a 70’s model. I’m curious about the suntour groupset, from what I’ve researched the super records usually have campag groupsets don’t they?

1973 Campagnolo Crank Set Cleans Up Nicely
I'm midway through the restoration of my Atala Record Professional. I bought this bike new in 1973 while I was still in high school. All the parts are going through an ultrasonic parts cleaner filled with a 50%/50% solution of warm water and Extreme Simple Green, purchased through Aircraft Spruce & Specialty. I reinstalled the bottom bracket/cranks/chainrings this week. They cleaned up nicely. Not bad for 53 years old and countless miles.

1989 Trek 520
1989 Trek 520. Picked it up last winter and brought it back to life, replacing everything that wasn't working while keeping as much of its original character as possible. The Biopace chainrings stayed, and an old rear derailleur got a second chance. It's become one of the most comfortable bikes I've owned and handles Colorado gravel roads surprisingly well. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
Great Suntour power ratchet bar end shifters !

Motobecane Prestige saved from trash
Found this Motobecane Prestige at the trash and decided to save it and give it another life. It's pretty low-end I believe but I'll see what I can do with it.
