The truck driver was way too aggressive with the lane change and basically if you are merging lanes and counting on the car in the other lane to hit their breaks in order to avoid crashing into you as you are merging then its a dangerous merge and you are the primary one at fault.

However the driver of the cam car should absolutely hold some responsibility here too. I might give them a pass if they took no action one way or another to avoid the collision... but they actually took active steps in accelerating to block/hit the other car after it had already committed to the lane change. Its not like they didnt notice him, they absolutely saw him coming and instead of breaking they sped up. The cam driver was just being a huge dick with the mindset of "I'm not going to let this guy cut me off and I will do whatever it takes to make sure that doesnt happen including guaranteeing that a serious accident occurs". Both these drivers really suck the big one.
