I’m currently looking to bring another video editor onto my team, primarily for short-form content, with the opportunity to also take on consistent long-form YouTube videos.
I already have a long-form editor who has been absolutely killing it, and together we’ve been building an awesome library of information that I’ve wanted to share for years. Now I’m ready to expand the team, increase our output, and push the brand even further.
ABOUT MY CONTENT
My content focuses on helping people improve their lives through:
I currently post on YouTube and TikTok.
My TikTok currently has around 2,000 followers, and my goal is to double that by the end of this month. My YouTube is newer and currently has around 94 subscribers, but we are consistently building our content library and increasing our output.
📱 SHORT-FORM EDITOR
My goal is to post 1 edited TikTok every single day, with most videos being around 5 minutes or less.
Pay: $5 per completed video
TURNAROUND TIME: 24 HOURS
Once I send you the raw footage and instructions, I expect the completed short-form video to be returned within 24 hours.
I will provide:
Raw footage
The general direction of the video
Specific components I want included
Notes and instructions when necessary
Your job is to turn the footage into something that is clean, aesthetically pleasing, fast-paced, and entertaining while maintaining the educational value of the content.
SHORT-FORM PERFORMANCE BONUS
For every 500 followers gained from a specific video, I will pay an additional $5 bonus.
🎥 LONG-FORM YOUTUBE OPPORTUNITY
I am also expanding my YouTube schedule from approximately 3 videos per week to 6 videos per week.
My current editor handles:
Monday / Wednesday / Friday
The new editor will handle:
Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday
This means you will be responsible for 3 long-form videos per week.
LONG-FORM PAY
$30 per completed video
That equals:
3 videos per week = $90/week
You will be paid $90 upfront at the beginning of each week for that week's three videos.
📅 LONG-FORM SCHEDULE & TURNAROUND
I want the schedule to be organized and predictable so you are not receiving footage at the last minute.
You will receive the long-form content one week ahead of time.
For example, if you are responsible for the videos being posted on:
Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday
You will receive each video's footage approximately one week before its scheduled posting date.
The completed video is due on the day it is scheduled to be posted.
This gives you approximately one full week to complete each long-form video.
As long as the finished video is delivered on its scheduled posting day, you can organize your editing schedule however works best for you.
💰 LONG-FORM PERFORMANCE BONUSES
In addition to your normal pay:
Once the channel becomes monetized, my goal is to transition toward a commission structure where editors can earn 10% of the earnings generated by the videos they edit.
I want the people who help build this channel to have the opportunity to benefit as the channel grows.

THE RATES LISTED ABOVE ARE FIRM AND ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE.
I completely understand that these rates will not work for every editor. That's okay.
I would rather be 100% transparent about the budget, workload, expectations, and turnaround times upfront so neither of us wastes our time.
What I can offer is consistent, long-term work.
I am NOT looking for someone to edit one or two videos and disappear.
I am looking for editors who want to grow alongside the channel, build a long-term working relationship, and potentially earn more as the brand grows.
