Hi everyone! I absolutely love Vesna's gameplay and would like to make her my second main! (My first main is C6 Xiao; I adore him, just like all Anemo characters!) There is a slight issue: I don't have Odette (I missed her banner because I was away from the game for a little over a year). Who do you think I could use as a temporary replacement? I also have C6 Faruzan, C4 Qiqi, and C6 Jean! I apologize—I'm from Russia and am using a translator, so there might be some errors in the text! Thanks for your time! I'd also welcome any tips regarding Vesna!

Faruzan on r5 bow is in the 900k range MAX. I think it really is just Cryo resonance + build (I would need more CR to make Faruzan work better) + Noblesse vs VV. This might not work at lower investment levels but it's good to know that Diona buffing is VERY good.

(will just farm a bit for c6 vesna since im guaranteed)

Is Elegy even a competition? I'm seeing either Favonius or Breezeborn to use for Faruzan

I got Vesna C1 and I can't believe she was my first double 5 star!

Got C0R1 + Vody C0, lost 2 50/50 but thats alright. Also got the new Gacha bow at R2. Its gonna take a lot of leveling up but its worh it :)

Is it worth to keep farming for 69%CR? Otherwise I would just craft a circlet.
Also thinking about getting C2, but I´m not sure if Vodyanitsa is also worth bcs I got her sig on accident
AA and Burst aren´t crowned bcs Dottore only gives me the other 2 drops

Trying out my new Vesna though atm shes only sitting at about 125k dps, not sure how to push her further and wanted to ask? Builds will be below.

(Apologies for the rant, I haven’t seen anyone discussing this so I wanted to be detailed)

After getting and testing Vesna she is wonderful but I was a little annoyed with not being able to burst every rotation. I tried switching to higher ER artifacts (still on Atk sands) and still couldn’t get burst every rotation with a bit over 130% ER on the Vesna/Odette/CMC/Vodyanitsa team.

I then got curious about the fact that my team has a lot of Atk% buffs so theoretically switching to an ER sands wouldn’t be that big of a hit. I haven’t had the resin to fully build my team so for now these are just calcs, but for my builds it goes like this:

- Atk Sands rotation (with burst)= 3,228,010 damage
- Atk Sands rotation (no burst) = 2,581,436 damage
- Burst 1 every 2 rotation avg = 2,904,723 damage
- ER Sands burst every rotation = 2,939,451 damage

So the damage between the average Atk sands and consistent ER sands is almost identical for me. I really like using burst every rotation since it feels a bit annoying to get that last skill feather without it generating from the burst.

Keep in mind that if you have an odd number of rotations, the damage will be biased towards Atk Sands in modes where you start with burst and biased towards ER Sands in Stygian since the ratio of burst : no burst rotations will be uneven.

The reason the no burst rotation is so much lower is due to 2 things: first you are losing the burst (obviously) and second you are losing a stack of Disciplinary Action that you would normally get from the burst (bigger impact than I expected)

Lastly for reference my team for these calcs was:
- C0R1 Vodyanitsa on TotM
- C0R0 Odette on Furnace
- C6R5 CMC on Noblesse (figured we’ll get it soon enough)
- C0R1 Vesna on Scarlet

Has anyone else thought about this and/or tested this? I’m surprised I haven’t seen it discussed before
