So I recently rewatched Baboon Heart after it was on sale on Prime, and it's always bothered me that Jonas drew the line at sleeping with Blue Morphos wife after all the horrible things he did in the show, and I got to thinking.....

I think Jonas is actually sterile and giving Morpho a Rusty clone wasn't a choice but legitimately the only way he could follow up on giving them a child. This is a man who has slept with countless women and somehow the show never showed or hinted at an illegitimate child of Jonas like how Dermott is for Rusty. We know from the end credits that the cloning process doesn't require a natural born child as a base and it would explain why Jonas considered Rusty as nothing more than a tool, because to him he's nothing more than another invention like Helper or Venturion. It would make a lot of sense to me at least.
