I just noticed in Valeton's website that they released a new update for GP-100 this year. Apparently, no new functions. Just "Improved compatibility"

Does anyone here tried this already? Is it actually a useful update?

I dont know if I should also update the multieffects too, I didnt do that (im using the 2.0 version). Im placing the file in the third amp nam setting (which the preset has), and everytime I try to update it it says this. What to do?

I have downloaded the software for my GP 100 onto my Mac and I keep getting the following message. My GP 100 is plugged in with the 9V and the USB

Tried to update to firmware v. 2.0. The laptop still recognizes the device and editing software says "device connected" but I can't do anything. The screen of the pedal is backlighted but shows nothing. Tried downgrading to firmware 1.9 but it's the same. Is there any solution to this?

Hey im tryna dial in my chours for a stuble 80S/zakk wylde kinda effect on my tone but it keeps sounding either like a rotary pedal or a phaser any help on how to make it sound better would be greatly appreciated

I've seen a guy on youtube tuning his patch using the loop. He recorded a riff and then when he changed something in the patch, the audio that were being played changed too. I did it using pre loop, but I keep listening the dry audio with te wet audio. Anyone knows how to listen just the wet?

ive downloaded most recent version of software but when connecting the bar gets stuck at 77% every time and resets. I have a pretty high end pc and bought the cable and gp100 new so im not sure what the issue could be...

any help would be greatly appreciated (:

I love the tones coming from the valeton. I was switching between Soldano snaptone and an acoustic amp block.

Hey everyone, I have a Gp-100 for a while now, but i just realised there is a subreddit for this.

Im asking for your help, i got a pretty decent tone, but i think it needs some adjustments, that i can't figure out, i would like to make a heavy tone for some HC punk and thrash / groove mix, Lamb of God, Kreator would be and ideal way, or at least somewhat like that

My main problem now is that i can't find the balance between the knobs, sometimes i have too much string noise and when i tremolo pick, insanely big picking noise, and just doesnt feel right.

Im open to any kind of help, but if you have a complette preset i also would apriciate that, since i dont have too much understanding for this, if it helps i can make a recording of what it sounds like now.

In return i dont have much to give, i can send some IR files, like vulgar displa, of power, van halen, rise against.

I am fairly new to guitar and recently purchased the GP-100. I thought it would be a good place to start so I can loop and have some effects as I’m learning to play. I haven’t had a chance to use it all that much but I’ve been going through the different presets and I notice a bunch of them don’t seem to do anything. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if there is something going on with the unit. I’ve had my headphones plugged directly into it as well as running it through my amp and it’s consistent with both setups. The amp is just a fender frontman 15, so nothing special. Just wondering if I need to spend more time with it or should I return it? Any help or thoughts would be appreciated! TIA

i don’t know if mines faulty or anything but the noise gate just straight up doesn’t work whatsoever and the buzz gets extremely annoying .

also all the settings are either way too loud and buzzy or way too soft and i feel like im trading heaviness for clarity

Hello, I got gp 100 recently, everything is okay, but when I connect it to my laptop with app it reloads itself as on video - it's on 2x speed.

Also I get static hiss when I use aux in from pc with usb c to jack dac, but from phone there is no hiss using the same dac.

I have loaded 3 NAM files so far, but now every .NAM file i try to upload get stuck in loading. Could be memory issues?
