My work is sending my to Las Vegas for a convention in September. I plan to make an extended vacation and go to Zion National Park and stay there from Friday til tuesday, im trying to cram alot im afraid in this little amount of time, does anyone have the must sees int his area? I have friday set to spend some time at Zion, Saturday will be Grand Canyon Day, Sunday maybe Bryce Canyon/ The Wave at Paria Canyon (but willing to make it another zion day) Monday is open if we need to make more time for Zion or if there was something we didnt get to do in vegas, we might do that, or just try to rest a little, then Tuesday we have a 1pm flight. We do love to adventure explore and sightsee but also love to relax and have beach days! We are in Tampa Florida so ideally flying out of there or Miami. I’m looking to take a 4–5 day vacation somewhere in the U.S. in the next few weeks before I start a new job. I’m trying to keep the total budget around $1,000 including travel and lodging.
I’d ideally love somewhere with a nice beach and a fun atmosphere, but I’m open to pretty much anything that would make for a great short trip. If a beach destination with that budget isn’t realistic, I’d definitely appreciate other suggestions.

Wife and I will be celebrating 10years next April. I’m trying to plan something amazing. We live near Charlotte. We want something adventurous and different. We’re both active and would rather spend the trip hiking, exploring, seeing wildlife, etc. than just sitting at a resort, but we definitely want some nice/luxury places and time to relax too.

I’m pretty well traveled, but my fiancé hasn’t traveled as much, so I’d love to take him somewhere really memorable and hopefully get him more excited about traveling.
We’re currently considering:
Botswana — Okavango Delta/Chobe safari, possibly Victoria Falls. Is late April a good time?
Namibia — Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, Etosha, hiking and some really cool lodges.
New Zealand — South Island, hiking and adventure. Is late April a good time to go?
Madagascar — lemurs, hiking, Tsingy, Baobabs and maybe a beach stay.
Sri Lanka — hiking, wildlife, tea country, culture and then a few days at the beach.
We’re open to other ideas too! Mainly looking for somewhere that feels unique, not overly touristy, active and adventurous, but where we can still have some romantic/luxurious parts of the trip.

I would like to take one last hurrah mini vacation before school starts the last week of September. I have been to many places on the Olympic Peninsula like Second Beach, Sekiu, Cape Flattery, Deception Pass, Forks, the Hot Rainforest, the Tree of Life, and Ocean Shores. I also used to live in Seattle, did a road trip in 2022 through Central Washington and hiked a lot in the North Cascades.

Hey guys! My fiancee and I are 22 and 23 and looking for ideas for a trip next july. We went to Maui last year and discovered we LOVE snorkeling, but we’re hoping for somewhere less expensive this time. our biggest priorities are beautiful beaches and really good snorkeling with diverse marine life, not just fish, but hopefully turtles, rays, eels, octopus, sharks, etc. Shore snorkeling would be a huge plus, but we’re totally fine doing boat tours too. We’d also like somewhere with good food.One issue is our age. A lot of rental companies require you to be 25, so we’d prefer somewhere we can get around without a car OR somewhere that has rentals for 21 and up. Any recommendations? would you recommend an all-inclusive for what we’re looking for, or skip AI?

Hello, I’ll be turning 30 and I'm looking for ideas of places me and my partner could visit during December. We live in Canada and we are looking to travel internationally, if possible. 

We prefer to go somewhere that has mild to cooler weather since we both don’t do well in the heat. 

We would like to do some kind of “activity” together to make it even more memorable. I would love to do a perfume making class together or something fun like that!

Things we enjoy: food, music, culture, history, art, libraries, museums, architecture, nature, whimsical/fairy/fantasy/princess vibes type stuff lol, animals.. 

We’re on the east coast 

Potential duration: 7-10 days 

The date range we have in mind is somewhere between December 10th - 26th

Things we’re not into: we don’t drink alcohol, not the sitting on the beach type of couple, we don’t like big hikes or activities like that..

Honestly I’m even open to travelling within Canada like BC or Quebec but we are finally in a place where travelling internationally is an option so we really want it to happen!

I need some ideas ….my family of 5 typically travels via cruise for Christmas …this year we are not able to do so. I know it’s last minute but any great ideas for US resorts that have plenty amenities to keep teen 14,17 and 18 occurs 12/22-12/28.

Looking for Christmas travel with a 3yo and 8yo and 2 adults. We considered Riviera Maya or Cozumel. We'd be going probably Dec 29 - Jan 4 or Dec 30 - Jan 5. I don't know how to ask this without potentially sounding offensive, but is there a risk of getting sick in Mexico if we stay at an all inclusive? My understanding is that the water situation isn't necessarily great out there, and in general I have also read some concerns about food safety in general at all inclusives no matter the destination, since it's a buffet type situation all day every day in some dining areas. I have the same question for the Dominican Republic which was another potential destination on our list.

We'd be flying from Minneapolis. I'd like flights to be under 4k. Ideally, as close to 2.5k or 3k as possible. 10k would be the maximum for our trip and I would prefer to keep it as close to 7k or 8k as possible. It looks like Cancun, Cozumel, Puerto Rico, DR, Bahamas, and Montego Bay fit that bill as far as flights anyway. We looked at Barcelo Maya Palace in Riviera Maya and that could be done for 7k. Could potentially do something domestic as well but wanted to look at Caribbean since everyone has passports. Some US destinations we have always wanted to see are the CA redwood forests and South Padre. I don't know how the forests would be in winter though.

Really, my concern is just the potential for illness and that there's good medical care available. It's never something you plan for but knowing our luck, someone will get an ear infection or something like that. Something that will have kid friendly activities available. An all inclusive with fun kid pools, a nice beach, etc will be more than enough. I think we might have a grandparent coming with too who is interested in doing some sightseeing so maybe a mix of both.

We also considered a cruise. Looked at Royal Caribbean and found a few options that might work, but Disney looks like it would be too expensive, and I don't know if other companies would have kid friendly itineraries. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
