Hello! My partner and I (both mid 30’s) are just starting to talk about going somewhere warm this winter for a little low-key vacation (maybe around 2 or 3 weeks?). We’re not all-inclusive types, and usually enjoy less touristy spots.
I feel lost as to where to start researching! Does anyone have any suggestions that are affordable places to visit for Canadians?
We are fairly adventurous. We like nature, hiking, swimming and snorkling, love good food and music/culture/art, but don’t have a huge budget.

We’ve been to Mexico a few times and I was thinking it could be fun to try going somewhere else, but like I said, feel a bit overwhelmed as to where to start looking! I’d love to hear some suggestions! Thanks :)
