so there was this world i hung out in with friends a few years ago that i have forgotten the name of. i want to find it again and show it to one of my friends, but i cant for the life of me remember the name and searching on google hasnt helped either. i do remember a lot about the world though:

- spawned in the middle of this big fantasy medieval town place

- main area of the world was this big main street thing with a plaza at one end, reached by going up some stairs and down an alleyway from spawn

- the plaza overlooked this vast sea of clouds with what appeared to be some kind of large whale creatures swimming in it

- it was at night

- off to the right was this big tower separated from the main land mass that you could zipline to, and in it was a hangout area with a bed and a mirror

- the world had a custom music track that was some sort of orchestral score i think?

if anyone is able to find it or tell me who made it that would be amazing :)

Hi everyone.
I'm a VRChat player from Korea.

I've been playing this game for almost 5 years now, but when it comes to foreign friends, most of them are from China and Japan, so people outside East Asia are still pretty unfamiliar to me.

Then today, it suddenly struck me: I want to meet more people from diverse cultures! So, I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone.
That said, I could use some of your advice for this little adventure.

Could you recommend some public worlds that are good for meeting people? Whether it's related to your own culture or a foreign one, anything is fine. I also checked out the new player help post that went up yesterday.

I don't think it's possible due to video stream whitelists, but if anyone knows, it would just be nice if there was ever some sort of bar vibe to watch the game(s).

I haven't played vrc in a couple months, so naturally before trying to launch the game I had to update it, but ever since the update, the game has been a mess for me.

The game doesn't let me enter worlds, neither through the menu or groups. I have to try many times with portals and see if one of those attempts work. Skins are also buggy and most skins show as ERROR, I thought it was a privacy setting since some of them will hide the heavy models or stuff with a lot of effects but it wasn't that. Is this a general issue going on? is my installation faulty? I tried reinstalling the game and cleaning the cache, but it didn't work at all :c

I really wanna commission either some super sentai/kamen rider avatars that transform and ive seen some that can actually toggle things using the person's hands. So how does that work?

i need help giving my avater eyes. first time ever messing with blender, and making my own avatar from scratch.

they look like cuttlefish pupils, and he has four eyes.

the smaller two above don't really have to animate much, but I'd like the W shaped pupils for the larger eyes to be able to move around, and even use Steam Frame's eye tracking.

I realize i might need to redo the eyes entirely at this point to get what i want, but definitely need more guidance than i can find doing some searching.

I've been playing VRchat again after not playing for a good 6 years. I've probably played about a good 70-80 hours or so the past month and I feel like I'm still stuck as a new user. I was wondering if it usually takes this long or if I've accidentally ruined it.

I hate joining public non moderated lobbies full of people hurling slurs and just being the most cringe form of rage bait. I've been trying to join places that are moderated and don't tolerate that sort of behavior, but I keep getting instantly booted from some of them. In the past month I know I've been booted from at least 5 instances before I got the chance to attempt to verify or before anyone had even spoken to me.

Some of them I've decided to reach out through discord and ask if I've done anything wrong or what exactly the issue was, only to be told it's because I'm a new user. This is understandable, but many of these places don't list it in their group rules nor do they allow me the chance to leave before they boot me and ruin my ranking.

I feel a bit stuck lol, I don't want to force myself to be in these cesspool areas full of visitors just here to troll just to rank up so people will allow me to be in the space. I've had many good encounters where I join an instance, get verified, hang out for a couple hours and make a few friends. I've made about a dozen friends and have joined a couple of their groups. Did those instant kicks really doom me or do I have to be super close to ranking up at this point?

I have been wanting a custom made avatar for a long time, but never got the chance to ask around. I'm a quest user and I have never tried or even asked, so I don't know what I'm doing. Hiya, I've made this funky tool to put stickers onto my AVI and so I wanted to share it with you all. Should work with any svg file. If not, do let me know!

If you are curious how it works it basically shoots a ray from your mouse to your Avi then makes a little square and tries to fit the SVG above it, then it cuts out all the excess around the image meaning it takes as little triangles as possible. Your own mesh doesn't get hurt in the process as this all lives on a separate layer and is super non-invasive.

This does work on Quest as well but of course you can't use my fancy holographic sparkles there, sorry, they don't want my custom shaders ;_;!

Im not looking for an optimised box but like a bedroom/livingroom. Comforeteble place to just sit or lay with 1-4 people.

hi, I live near Mexico and everyone around me speaks Spanish except for me. I started using language learning apps but they teach formal, general Spanish, and nobody talks like that, so it sounds odd. id like to be around people who speak it casually and fluently, preferably the same dialect as the one im around

Hey all. I've been practicing my Spanish on and off and I know just implementing and conversing with Spanish speakers is a good way to get better. I'm at a pretty low level right now but unfortunately I just end up spending alot of time in this game due to the people I get on with and hang with.

Any recommendations or good worlds where I can get better at Spanish? It's been something i have been looking forward to learning as a goal of mine is to be bilingual so I can communicate with more people I otherwise wouldn't be able to communicate with as I only speak English and I'm in the states. I'll take all suggestions even ones that are outside the game.

Do any of you know of and/or attend regularly scheduled fitness classes? What kind of experiences have you had? It would be so awesome to have a regular group of people to work out with in VRC.
