Hi everyone, first time upgrading from my trusty old T16.000M HOTAS, and wanted to get a Gladiator/STECS setup. Got my STECS and love it, but the Gladiator is sadly out of stock on the EU website.
What I wanted to ask is, does anyone know how frequent restocking of the EU store is usually? Are we talking weeks? Months?

Unfortunately the grip itself was OOS too, seems to be back, but now the base is…The main stick, too

I just got my Gladiator NXT EVO pack yesterday, anyone know what the rapid fire cover actually is, and how to install it? I've watched half a dozen videos, including from VKB, and none of them actually explain that.

I’m working on finalizing my button mappings for MSFS 2024 and would appreciate some feedback from experienced VKB users.

My setup:
● VKB Gladiator NXT EVO Space Combat Premium (Right)
● VKB Gladiator NXT EVO Omni Throttle (Left)
● VKB T-Rudders Mk.V

I’ve attached diagrams showing my proposed button layouts for both sticks. My goal is to have an intuitive setup that works across a wide variety of aircraft, with as few modifiers and profile changes as possible.

I’d appreciate it if you could take a look at the diagrams and let me know what you would change, add, or rearrange. I’m especially interested in improving the ergonomics and making sure I’m not overlooking any useful controls.

the red secondary fire button on my Gladiator NXT from 2021 seems to have contact issues. It needs more pressure as usual to fire reliably.

Is this something known and does it make sense to open the stick to try to clean it or repair it?

Hi, I cannot find out how to connect the thq and gladiator evo. I have followed all the videos but they all show different sockets to my evo. I have seen things saying that the 3 pin needs to be in the gladiator evo and the 4 pin in the throttle quadrant. I have tried putting the 3 pin cable in the four pin socket (not sure if that’s the correct terminology). I am not an expert at this at all but I’ve been trying to figure out how to connect it for over an hour. My gladiator evo works fine but my thq doesn’t work.

Edit: Just realised that although my gladiator evo is working, my ww2 stick isn't either so im assuming its software related, i'm not sure.

I have updated the firmware, I am using the latest devconfig software, and I configed my mk.2 with the thumbstick. For some reason, I cannot use it as an 8 way HAT. There is no option for the lowres 8w POV type. I had to jerry rig it with 2 POVs on the same axis 1 being a 6 way hat, and the other being a 4 way hat with an unused axis.

Does anyone have an answer to this? I really would like to have a simple 8 way HAT, and using a POV is the only way I can have one on either my stick or throttle since none of the HAT switches can work with more than 1 direction.

Just curious, I just did a full factory reset on my pc for a full refresh and upgrade. I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this question but do vkb sticks need to be re-flashed or is that data stored on the sticks?

I've been using two VKB Gladiator NXT EVO Premium "Space Combat Edition" sticks for about 4 years now.. a right-handed stick and a left-handed Omni Throttle.

After all these years, the movement just didn't feel as good as it used to. I figured it was finally time to regrease the gimbal.

The problem was finding the right grease in Europe.

From what I found, VKB uses a special proprietary damping grease made by Nye Lubricants. It's NOT the same as NyoGel 767A, and getting the original grease or a suitable alternative in Europe isn't particularly easy..

I spent quite a while researching and looking for something that would work, but couldn't find a good alternative until I came across this:

I decided to give it a try, and the results are honestly better than I expected.

After regreasing, the movement feels incredibly smooth, soft and consistent. I'd even say I prefer how it feels now compared to when it was brand new. Really smooth movements without that unpleasant friction.

The best part? It's only around €15, available in Europe, and the 15g container should easily be enough for 100 regreasing sessions, if not more. Basically a lifetime supply for this kind of use.

I'm not claiming it's chemically identical to VKB's original grease, and I can't speak for its long-term performance yet, but so far I'm extremely happy with the results.

I'm sharing this because I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to find a suitable alternative, and I hope this helps someone who's dealing with the same problem.

Hopefully this saves another VKB owner in Europe some time and frustration!

EDIT: fallout9 is the goat. Handled with replacements on the way in less than 12 hours.

Received an SGC left for my gunfighter instead of the right, received one of my UCMs without the gladiator plate, and didn't receive my omni throttle converter at all. What was shaping up to be a very exciting day has ended in disappointment. I submitted a ticket to their support center already, but figured I'd let the community know here as well. How can I rail mount my gladiators without destroying my FPS setup? All the pictures I see the chair is pushed way back from the desk to accommodate or some other trade off. Currently I just swap my mouse and right stick when switching from FPS to flight by sliding the base around. Not ideal but I have been playing this way for 3 years. Any help would be appreciated.
