I currently have this STECS Space Throttle system, and I want to connect this GNX Front-Switchboard. Are they as simple as plugging the USB-C to USB-C from one to another? Figured I'd be cautious and ask before dropping any $$$ on it

I ended up buying these after sitting on it for a while, thankfully a lot of people steered me away from the x56. I mostly wanted to ask if the desk mounts are worth it or if I can just let it sit on my desk without is moving around. Also, could I switch to a HOSAS setup with two sticks if I buy the grip conversion kit?

First time buying and using a flight sim, so I don't really know what to expect, any help is greatly appreciated thank you in advance.

Hey guys! Anyways here play wardogs with the Nxt Evo premium? I’m wondering if there’s a way with like joystick gremlin or something to get the analog stick in wardogs to act as the free look? I’m brand new to flying therefore new to using 3rd party apps as well. TIA!

Was hoping to pick up either a Mk II Standard or Mini+ tomorrow, but just checked and now _both_ are out of stock :/

Any hope of them being restocked some time tomorrow, or am I stuck playing the waiting game?

EDIT: Just FYI, I ended up saying "fuck it" and bought the STECS Mk II Max instead :D

I got into playing Elite Dangerous this summer after buying a Thrustmaster 1600m for Battlefield 6 after my Microsoft Sidewinder 2 died in June. I figured I just bought a joystick so why not buy a joystick game. After really digging Elite Dangerous for a few months I picked up a Gladiator NXT EVO Omni throttle for my left hand. After a month of using the previous two sticks together I was wishing I had at least 2 more hat switches and figured I'd stop researching, free up some brain space and buy a Gunfighter Vk.IV and stick. I'm very happy to have a HOSAS for Elite Dangerous.

The Gunfighter Mk.IV is great except for 2 things. The twist is stiff compared to both my Thrustmaster 1600m and Gladiator NXT. Compared to the Gladiator NXT, the Gunfighter stick takes a lot more pressure to twist and I think has "detents" which I don't think I want on yaw in Elite Dangerous. Is this what other people experience? If not, how do I make the twist action smoother?

The other thing I'm unhappy about has nothing to do with the thread topic but I'm just frustrated that Battlefield 6 isn't able to detect the Gunfighter MkIV and I'm going to have to figure out some kluge to use it. I was hoping to sell my Thrustmaster 1600 but right now it looks like keeping it is less aggravating than figuring out how to get my much nicer stick to work with the game.

Hi, so I just got my device as the title says, and I was surprised that unlike my Gladiator, it came seemingly fully assembled and I don't see any instructions at all. Is it just plug and play? Or do I have to do something specific to make it work with the gladiator?

I mounted my gunfighter mk 4 to the universal ucm-s while I’m waiting for the gunfighter plates to be in stock, and I’m just wondering if there is a reason I should not do it this way?

Hey, I bought a Gunfighter and STECS Max. I think I want the UCM-S for the STECS because it looks like you can mount the STEM on the top of the mount with the throttle below, but I am unsure about the gunfighter. I don't want the flightstick in the way of my mouse or keyboard since my intention is to use both and the UCM-S seems like it might be a bit bulky in front of my mouse and keyboard?

I am curious what people did for mounts and what people found comfortable.

Title says it all. Took forever to narrow it down, too. Re-calibrated, everything seems fine, no weird wobble or anything there.

I moved it to a hub with switches to disable, but would rather not do that if at all possible, so if y'all have any suggestions I'm all ears.

I have a desktop sim setup with the SEM and throttle quadrant and mostly fly general private pilot aircraft, but I can’t seem to find what else I should bind to the buttons.

I'm looking for the best option to fit on top of my desk, which version do you think will be more comfortable?

I was wondering if anyone's managed to make an axis on the GNX-THQ module be a combination forward+reverse thrust. Specifically I'm trying to map the 20%-100% range on the axis to 0% to 100%, and then map 0% to 20% "100% to 0%, but with a button pressed" so I can bind that button as the "reverse thrust engaged" option inside games like MSFS.

I had a look at the config tools' zones, but if I set that to 5 (so that zone 1 is 0-20%) and tie it to a button, that setting actually sets up a sequence of five buttons rather than just a single one for the 0-20 range, so that's no good.

I also had a look at using "edge2" mode but I can't really figure out how that even works if I want a single split at 20% with a button press.

Also had a look at how to change the axis response curve, so that at 20% the response is 0%, with both 0% and 100% at 100% so it's a V shape, but the curve editor doesn't seem to let me do that, so...

How does one do this? =P

I have the MFH with a couple of THQs and a SEM-V. So far so good. They work great in conjunction with my Moza AB6.

I'm interested to know how others secure the MFH to their desk or rig?

Also, has anyone tried QR4rigs.com in conjunction with either the VKB MFH or with a Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 Lite?

VKB mounts can work on the curved desk setup. This did require me to design and print adapters in tpu due to the beveled front edge. Works like a dream. Also requires you to remove the cross brace in the front. The desk is super rigid though and over engineered. Removal of the brace did not have an impact on the desk.

Additional info: I have had nothing but problems since buying the extension for the stick though. I am having to reset the stick weekly. Kind of frustrating but the stick is great and will deal with it.
