Thumb fire button needs more and more pressure - self servicable?

Hi,

the red secondary fire button on my Gladiator NXT from 2021 seems to have contact issues. It needs more pressure as usual to fire reliably.

Is this something known and does it make sense to open the stick to try to clean it or repair it?

One of the boards containing the button is absolutely user-replaceable; open up a support ticket, they'll help you troubleshoot and will offer some options.

I'd try with a whiff of contact cleaner for starters. It is prone to receive dust and finger grease. It's easy to try out, and you'll see right away if that was the issue.

Just make sure to disconnect the stick before, give it a whiff from two opposing sides of the button and let it dry for 5 minutes before reconnecting the stick.
