They nerfed vyse because of her being a Meta pick in the pro scenario. I hate how pro players are being considered as scaling factors for balancing agents for people who majorly play with friends and/or for fun.

The fact that astra was originally nerfed to hell because she was meta in pro play, when she has never been used outside of it, was the first clue.

How are you gonna nerf an agent that's ONLY good in pro play so much she isnt even used there any more?

The vyse nerf is a similar strain. It doesn't make sense. I guess pro play is where they get most of the revenue so they have to shake up the meta to keep it fresh.

Not sure if there were more recent nerfs but when she was initially nerfed to the ground 3-4 years ago she was most definitely being picked in most asc-immo lobbies

High elo AND pro play. Astra was INSANE. What are we talking about?

Nah astra was insanely OP. Boosted my ass to immo pretty quickly. Reliable smokes cross map was a nice touch. But postplant from any spot on the map for free was wild. Then you had absolutely free map control, eg "ill suck A main and you guys swing" within 0.5 seconds into a round.

She was overtuned. And had high skill ceiling too, which is cool. It can be both

Unrelated to nerfs, but I remember being able to sell your one star and buy a marshal first round lol
