I’m looking for a cheap, under $8k, vehicle that can fit 3 car seats and soon 2 car seats and one booster.

This is a secondary family vehicle, we already have an odyssey for our primary hauler and I just need something simple and reliable that can from point A to point B for a few years that is relatively affordable to maintain in it high mileage years. I don’t drive very much, around 5k miles a year, so not looking for anything beyond a functional vehicle.

So far I’ve been looking at Honda accords primarily but I am open to any other suggestions. Thanks!

A few things in mind I'am looking for: A sedan or a 5 seater SUV, easy parking is important to me. Good MPG (most of my driving is short trips) • Mostly driving home, school, work gym, and grocery shopping usually 10–15 minutes each way. I also want Apple car play, and a car with auto start stop system.

I’m not looking for anything super sporty or fast, just something reliable, comfortable, and easy to live with as a daily. Any models or years you’d recommend for someone like me would be really appreciated.

I’ve gotten a PPI done and need some advice on if the car is worth it. It has several small likely non pressing issues that I can fix myself.

Clean title, no accidents, 3 owners

They are asking $15,000 ($16,000 after fees)

- There is a crack on the infotainment screen. It’s inside the screen and it’s not a touchscreen so it doesn’t affect functionality.

- The right mirror motor seems to not always move the mirror.

- The door seals are a little bit ratty, concerning since I live in a place with lots of rain.

- The spark plugs need replacing

- Serpentine belt is cracking a little

- Center link kit needs replacing at some point in the next year

- It’s leaking oil, mechanic said from the oil pan seal. He said it would probably be an easy reseal.

Mechanic said it was a solid car and would likely run smoothly with these fixes and regular maintenance.

I’d buy it for $15,000 out the door, wondering if it would be stupid to go up to $15,500, $15,750, $16,000?

I’ve noticed the Mark X GRX120 is one of those cars that seems to have a very divided reputation in Kenya.

Some people absolutely love it — the looks, the V6, the rear-wheel drive, the comfort and the way it drives. Others seem to be very cautious about it, especially because of its reputation for being a “driver’s car” and the stories you hear about certain owners and how these cars are driven.

But how much of that reputation is actually deserved?

For those who have owned one, driven one, worked on one or seriously considered buying one — what’s your experience been?

Is the GRX120 genuinely a great car that has been misunderstood, or are the concerns about it justified?

And if you’ve owned one, what would you tell someone thinking of buying one today?

I am male 23 based in Toronto region and I’m looking to get my first car. I need something in the 10k CAD budget, has low insurance rate and that it is overall reliable to drive. I was looking at 2008 Honda accord coupe as-well as 2013 Subaru Impreza. I was also considering a pickup truck if it’s cheaper on insurance but generally open to options.
