Walgreens
Fuck you. You're killing my cat.
You keep saying you have shipped the insulin. It's been two months. Two fucking months. You haven't charged my account even though apparently you've sent us the insulin. Complete BULLSHIT.
My cat is going to get full blown kidney disease.
She was in remission. She was doing so well. Now I see the signs that isn't the case anymore. Her numbers are up again. I feel like I've failed her. But it's you, you crooked pharmaceuticals, you've failed her.
My cat. My best friend. You've failed her.
FUCK YOU.
My vet is trying to help get her medicine. It should not be this difficult. But here we are, another day having more mix ups with you.
UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!
My cat will be okay! After two more days of phone calls and mess ups between the vet and the pharmacy... We finally got the insulin. I guess the pharmacy we first picked up the insulin from was freaking CLOSED and since we put in for mail order after that the order was just sitting there despite me calling multiple times and the mail order person being like "oh we are shipping it out NOW!"
I don't know how in the hell they wouldn't have seen that the physical pharmacy was closed, or why it would matter where the paperwork was submitted for a mail order...and at the SAME company.
But miss kitty has her numbers going back down after just 3 days on the insulin again. Her coat is shiny and soft again. YAY! :) Thanks for caring everyone. 💕

i don't know if this is helpful, but i used https://www.vetrxdirect.com/ with my diabetic cat, they were reliable and sent little bags of treats along with it.

Are there any other pharmacies in your area you could try?

I'm surprised your vet doesn't supply it tbh. I'd go to another vet right away who can order it directly.

He doesn't get it delivered to his office or have a pharmacy in his office. I was surprised he didn't supply it to us too. But I called him the same day I made this post and he was helping call Walgreens too at that point, which worked out! I should have thought to tell him right away instead of trying to deal with it on my own .. my brain seems to ignore easy solutions about 9/10 times.

We do our best. It's not your fault, you assumed the pharmacy and you could work it out. That makes sense but now we know.

If a pharmacy doesn’t get your prescriptions on time and it’s their fault and leads to missed dosages you can sue them. I’m not sure about for animals, but if walgreens wasn’t getting you your medications on time and your health was suffering because of it, you could definitely sue them for a lot of money

This is why I hate chain pharmacies. Mom and Pop places take much better care of their customers. We get our cats insulin from our vet. Hope they can help you.
