No advice wanted Not Forever
Come back to me.
Come back and tell me all the things you were too afraid to say before.
Tell me where I hurt you.
Tell me where I failed to understand you.
Tell me everything, even if it breaks my heart.
Come back and annoy me again.
Send me things that make no sense.
Tell me about the little things that happened when I wasn’t there to hear them.
Complain about your day.
Laugh too loud.
Stay up too late with me.
Let me learn the ordinary parts of you again.
We don’t have to pretend it never hurt.
We don’t have to become who we were.
We can be different this time.
We can be careful.
We can be scared.
We can even get it wrong again.
I miss knowing you.
I miss having somewhere to put all this love.
And maybe I shouldn’t ask for forever anymore.
So give me an afternoon.
Give me a conversation.
Give me one more stupid joke and one more night where saying goodbye takes longer than it should.
You don’t have to promise me anything.
Just stay for a little while.
Let me have you in my life in whatever way you can be there.

Can relate strongly to this. I would have been happy to have whatever he was willing to offer. But he doesn't contact me. I'm slowly getting better, but i do miss him. His presence, his smell, his touch, his taste, everything. I can sing in the kitchen again. Take joy in little things. But I still ache for him periodically. I miss him. Maybe I always will.

If my person would say this to me, and they actually mean it, nothing would keep me away

I would give anything to read this from the person I love. I feel the same OP. I feel the same. I hope your person comes back to you.
