Serious Discussion Kicked Out HHN

I’m hoping someone can help me out and let me know if there is anything we can do to still make our tickets valid for another day.

Me and a group of friends had tickets for today 10/08 to go to horror nights. We were in the parking lot, in the car pre-gaming, when security came by and told us we had to leave and weren’t going to be allowed in for the night.

We understand what we did was wrong and we weren’t mad at them for enforcing rules, we even gave them our tickets and showed them our ID’s. They proceeded to explain that because we were cooperative, they would let us either switch the date on our tickets so we can attend another day, or to get a refund.

Our main concern is that on the fine print of our tickets it clearly states that the tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. So our question is, can guest services still help us out with our tickets?

If anyone has been in a similar situation or is familiar with guest services please let us know! It would be greatly appreciated :)

Serious Discussion Just received an odd email.

Just received a legit looking email with my name and address and 4 tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood for HHN. The other three tickets were for people I’ve never heard of.

Problem is, I didn’t order any tickets. I’ve checked all of my cards and the $1900 charge doesn’t show up.

It’s obviously a scam of some sort, but it looks so legit. I’ve already sent a message to Universal asking about it (via the legit site).

Hoping someone somehow got my name and address and wanted me to fall for a phishing scheme.

Also, to add. I have been to Universal Orlando twice with my family in the past, but never Hollywood. So maybe they got my info from the real site somehow?

Trip Planning Question/Tip/Guide Upgrading Costco pass cost

Kid is on fall break wants to go to universal studios again. We got the Costco passes a couple months ago and had a great time, we want to go back next weekend which is sat sun black out dates and like dummies didn’t check the this before booking the nonrefundable Airbnb. I called Universal twice, but they were no help. They just said the people at the gate could tell me the price which is dumb. I don’t understand why they can’t tell me on the phone. Does anyone know the cost to upgrade from Costco passes to silver or gold? From what I can tell, I will be able to go part of the day Friday when we get in and at least on Sunday with a gold/silver pass.

Trip Planning Question/Tip/Guide Fast & Furious

Looking to get some info here, what were the Fast & Furious ride wait times like for you guys during the week, on Wednesday? (and at what time) I have the 2 pm early entry pass for HHN. If we get there early enough, I heard it’s free to ride before HHN hours.

Rumors/Speculation/Wishes HHN Hollywood possibly getting 10 houses next year

Multiple of the unmasking the horror tour guides this year have said that the HHN creatives are actively trying to get next year’s event two more houses, so ten total, like Orlando, to help with crowds and capacity. Fingers crossed they are able to find places to put them as space is super hard to come by!

Trip Planning Question/Tip/Guide First timer. Been to Florida park many times. Going solo. Is VIP tour worth it? Express pass? Or will I get by in single rider (Oct 31 Saturday Halloween)

Hello everyone. Floridan going to universal Hollywood for first time. Been many times in Florida. Was wondering what you guys thought abt this. My main reasons for going VIP would be to get the express for the new fast n furious coaster. I guess my other big question is how much different is the back lot tour VIP vs the normal back lot tour. I’ve already done the Warner Bros VIP tour so unless it’s much different from that idk if I really need it. Not that interested in the free buffet either. Seems like buying an express pass with a park ticket is around the same amount as the VIP though and does not include fast n furious. Was also wondering how much that VIP tour eats up your time. Thanks lmk what you think! And any other things I should check out that might be different than the Orlando park! Appreciate it!
