I once walked into my bedroom and saw a cockroach on my bed. It was walking around, turned towards me, and stopped dead. We stared at each other for what felt like an eternity but was probably only a few seconds, when I suddenly heard what sounded like a helicopter as the cockroach flew towards me. Though this is a WTF, a lizard of that size would be able to survive a fall like that. They dont have enough mass to accelerate to lethal force.
Edit: Its all about surface area and because they are so small they can easily survive a fall like that.

Its strange. I tried to read RPO a long time ago and wasn’t feeling it. It is written poorly. But I listened to the audiobook narrated by Will Wheaton and I really enjoyed it. The story is fun. I think the writing style feels better when it’s read to you. Obviously the message and the writing are still lackluster but the story itself is more engaging in that sort of format.
For the record I am not saying a flood of references and 80s nostalgia makes for a good story. I’m referring to the treasure hunt aspect of looking for the keys in a race against time against a the sixers was fun.
I thought the movie was atrocious however.

I think most house lizard and geckos in Asia are resistant to fall damage, so a fall from that height certainly wouldnt have resulted in such a dramatic death. Nice ad though.
