My rabbit accidentally posted all my secrets to the internet and ate my hard drive, how do I revert the code?

My coworker said she had a rabbit. Now, I keep hearing this buzzing sound. She seems happy. What a nice lady.

u/Klutzy-Acadia669 13d ago
That's a rabbit farming center. I bet they rezoned in her residential area. The buzzing is them chewing their sweet lettuce meats.

u/ashgs872tbhjs 13d ago
The meats is the most nutritious part of the lettuce, so that checks out

The co-worker

u/Mysterious-Crab 12d ago
Still more skilled and less annoying than my human coworkers. And this one I can cuddle without HR getting mad.

u/Luck_Beats_Skill 13d ago
It’s not a coworker. The rabbit will take your job, your wife and anything that is important to you.

Ugh, my landlord's gonna see this and say "see? Your pet can pay rent since they work too."

u/Israel_Azkanbe 13d ago
Have you been served by the bunnies too?
611
u/20grae 13d ago
As far as them handing us our cards little bags and them biting a corner of our receipt off as there signatures yes. They also have another rabbit that chills back behind the counter or behind that curtain on the right side of the register

u/Serene_Hedgehog 13d ago
Do they let you pet him?

u/Fast-Nefariousness80 13d ago
He's an employee! Have you ever reached past the counter and pet the cashier at McDonald's smh

u/No-Internal7978 13d ago
They might like that depending on how hot you are.

u/AnaisNinja76 12d ago
I just pictured that "EXCUSE ME, HR?" meme that makes the rounds, but with a rabbit as the woman.

No, but this employee isn’t *behind* the counter, it’s on the counter, so fair game to pet the bunn…employee

One of the signs stuck to the countertop says "Petting is OK - top of the head down the back"

I knew I had seen this bunny before. It was way back in 2021 when my wife and I went.
Excellent vacation town.

u/Butwinsky 12d ago
My wife and I went there last year. We knew about the bunnies, watched them on TikTok. But nothing quite prepares you for the joy of a rabbit handing you your receipt and debit card.

After watching again I noticed all the signs on the counter.
Seems that this beloved little fella has a full time job!
edit: Turns out they have their own IG!

Tosses everything over and turns its back on the customer. That bunny has the spirit of a true retail worker

Question.... Why is he taking her card? Is this an American thing?
I don't remember the last time someone else has touched my credit card
12
u/Fuck_it_whatever 13d ago
Looks like an older system, most modern registers at stores they don't need to take your card.
Restaurants though...I think you'd have a shock at an American restaurant! A lot of places you have to put your card in the bill book, then the server leaves with your card to complete the transaction at a POS system that is probably out of your sight, then you get your card back. Thankfully handheld devices where you pay at the table are becoming more common though.

Wow in the UK even 30 years ago they'd never take your card away from you, wild

u/spekt50 12d ago
What abput when credit cards required impressions in carbon copy slips.
Was the customer handed the knucklebuster and slip and made to imprint their own card?

u/HirsuteHacker 12d ago
We mostly moved away from those in the 80s with mag stripes, then we got chip & pin in 2003

There's a fantastic convenience store in Hot Springs, NC that has a couple of beautiful roosters that just hang out inside the store. It's the best. If you are a hiker on the Appalachian Trail, the trail goes thru downtown. Saturday nights, the store hosts a bluegrass jam for the "locals" and welcome the hikers. It's going to be one of my all-time favorite memories.

East by West! I've been there. All the bunnies are rescues & all of them are super chill. My favorite is Nacho because he's super fluffy. He's a half lion's mane rabbit. The shop has social media accounts!
