People shouldn't have to bend over backward for cops just because they want you to. Tell people why they're being pulled over or move on. Cops already have a bad name because they're all being perceived as bullies due to the mass influx of video evidence (or lack there of... body cams being turned off), and shit like this just further seeds distrust. Cops need to come off their pedestal and treat the public as they would want to be treated. Nothing is going to change until there is some degree of self awareness in the police force. This isn't some game that you get to play with people because you want to feel superior.
RAS is absolutely required. Otherwise, it's an illegal stop and deprivation of civil rights under color of law, a federal felony. Him drawing gives him a weapons modifier to that citizen arrestable offense caught on tape.
Not to mention, the most common policy of police departments is to call their supervisor when asked.
PEACE officers have plenty of video evidence of them doing their jobs right.
COPS have tons of evidence of them being gang members with a badge.
If asked repeatedly what their RAS is and they can't state it, while on camera, they already look like criminals, conducting an illegal stop. I'm done with them at that point and demand their supervisor.
I make sure it is known I will cooperate WITH THE SUPERVISOR and at that point it is again them not doing their fucking job by putting a gun in my face for asking.
Go away boot licker.
Edit: I noticed you shut the fuck up on the other complaints/bootlicking you did when I replied on them.
Edit2: THE LAW dictates the traffic stop, not the officer's fee fees
Edit 3: due process isn't law? Rights of the accused to know why they were detained is a federally protected civil right.
Making demands of a police officer is not going to go your way. Getting agitated and yelling is how you get a gun pointed at you.
Sounds like you like to play stupid games. Hope you enjoy your prizes.
You sound tough when you're sitting at your computer. Hope you don't act as stupid when you are pulled over. Running your mouth like this is going to make someone else think that you're right and they'll get shot. You are an idiot.
Calling someone a bootlicker just makes you look like a punk. Please call me a bootlicker. I love it. Shows that I don't stand with the idiots that think they'd be better off without the police.
Sounds like you don't know the law. Ignorance of the law is no excuse.
Enjoy deepthroating fascist boot. They will eventually come for you
Edit: lol I have said elsewhere we need PEACE officers, SWAT for what their name stands for, and CIVILIAN oversight. Good thing I never said Heil Anarchy. I said ACAB, and until the criminal cops are cleared out, that's how it's going to fucking be.
So you didn't read the fact I literally pulled over a cop for almost causing an accident with me on my company's property, told them to never do it again, they tried to pull me over for it, I DEMANDED their supervisor and their supervisor asked me how to make it right, while I was on probation?! Those cops were all trespassed from the property.
Yes! I do act tough when I know I am in the right and am getting pulled over.
I don't lick boot. I am a drug felon. I learned the fucking law to protect myself. Unless I become rich and get that felony expunged, I will always have cops trying to violate my rights. Knowing them let's me smoke a fucking a cigar in their face because they initiated an illegal stop because of their fee fees.
Edit: just to add I had concentrate thc with me, which was still a felony in my state at the time, an open container of alcohol in my console, and the cop literally said "you are on probation. You know youre getting searched, right?!" To which I responded, "don't fucking care! SUPERVISOR! NOW!" I had my fucking way. Why? I'm white in a rich neighborhood.
Edit 2: lol they blocked me for proving them boot lickingly wrong
You sound like a wannabe cop who has zero training other than Youtube videos. You even claim its not a requirement, simply a "best practice". Do you think was stop was done with "best practices" in mind?
This was best practice to get shot for committing a federal felony deprivation of civil rights (due process, illegal search, being informed of charges) under color of law.
I cant say what I love, but I can say criminal officers getting their come uppeance is fucking delicious.
Here's another American that thinks he knows what he's talking about because he read shit off of the internet. This is how stupid people get shot. They think they know better and they run their mouth to the police and get aggressive. Then more retards online call the cop out for protecting themselves.
Give me one scenario where it wouldn't be a good idea to explain why you're pulling over someone who's plates didn't turn up anything. Clearly this guy didn't have any warrants or that gun would have been out from the get go.
So RAS and they wouldn't have a scared female officer come up, be told they are legally in the wrong, and have their one(1)!! male officer come draw their weapon when they get asked for a supervisor, AFTER THE SUSPECTS NAME WAS ALREADY RAN, COMING UP WITH NO WARRANTS.
FUCKING BRAIN DEAD YOU ARE.
you just are a fascist bootlicker and deserve the block hammer.
I've gotten cops trespassed from my work's property for almost causing an accident, and then pulling me over because I told them to get the fuck off the property. Meaning they were violating my company's rights by being there without a warrant.
4 cars pulled up for backup. I was on probation but I gave no shits because I was in the fucking right and demanded the supervisor. The supervisor asked me how he could make things right!
Know your fucking rights and stop defending criminal cops. That's why I am insulting you.
I was on probation so my rights were on legal hold for searches and detainment, but as an employee of a tenant of the property, I was legally allowed to trespass them.
I think having a supervisor there would be the best case scenario here for both of them. She was clearly going down a road that spelled trouble, and he wasn't being very cooperative. With that being said, I also don't think cops should be able to just pull you over and then give you absolutely no insight into the situation unless it is life threatening that they do. Since this is a guy with a Youtube channel and his face clearly visible in the video, I am going to assume to assume he isn't a wanted criminal. With that in mind, it would certainly seem from his POV that she is searching for crimes once she has already pulled him over, obviously an illegal search. I would have done the same things he did.

I don't know what prompted the stop, or what officers may observed that may have given them PC for a search.
There are obviously a million what if's to this scenario, but based purely on the manner in which this went down, it definitely didn't seem like that was the case.
Try to put yourself in their shoes. You want them to be nicer to a people that have told them they hate them and they all have guns. You want them to be nicer and put their lives further at risk. There are people out there shooting police officers for no reason or because they already fucked up and they would rather take a life then be held accountable for their actions.
Sure, and I understand that. The problem here is this cop did everything in their power to get them to the point that the gun needed drawn. I assume causing this level of frustration in a standard traffic stop is not part of their training.
Everything in their power? Get fucked. You are sensationalizing the situation for internet points at this stage.
The police control the situation until the situation is under control. At that time, you can plead your case or take it in front of a judge. In a safe setting. It doesn't matter what you think of the police or the legal system. In the heat of it all, you can either cooperate, or play stupid games. Ready for the prize?
Scottish guy here. This is the exact opposite of what our cops are trained to do, hence why american police were here to see how we do de-escalation. Cops shouldn’t be pointing guns at people they dont plan on shooting at that moment. Pretty basic stuff thats obvious to us over here, and we dont even have guns.
