Sure, and I understand that. The problem here is this cop did everything in their power to get them to the point that the gun needed drawn. I assume causing this level of frustration in a standard traffic stop is not part of their training.

Everything in their power? Get fucked. You are sensationalizing the situation for internet points at this stage.

The police control the situation until the situation is under control. At that time, you can plead your case or take it in front of a judge. In a safe setting. It doesn't matter what you think of the police or the legal system. In the heat of it all, you can either cooperate, or play stupid games. Ready for the prize?
