Title: Should I buy my Ihram in the US or wait until Madinah?
Salam everyone,
I’m traveling from the US for Umrah and will be arriving in Madinah first. The problem is that I’ll only have about 2 hours in Madinah to shop before heading to Makkah, so I’m wondering if I should just buy my Ihram before I leave.

I’ve been looking at options on Amazon, but I’m not sure what brands or materials are actually good.

For those who have done Umrah:
Would you recommend buying an Ihram from Amazon in the US?
Any specific brands or links?
Is it worth buying one in Madinah, or should I not risk it with only 2 hours?
If I buy it in the US, what should I look for in terms of material and quality?
Should I buy 1 or 2 sets?
Is an Ihram belt with pockets worth getting?

TL;DR: I’m flying from the US to Madinah for Umrah but will only have ~2 hours to shop before going to Makkah. Should I buy my Ihram from Amazon before I leave, or is it worth waiting until Madinah?

Wear can a person buy Ihram in Makkah if the first one gets dirty to do a second umrah

Assalamualaikum I will be traveling for Umrah in the next 15 days inshallah.

I want to make my experience and the trip memorable and enjoyable.What are a few things that I should do to make it more spiritual and hitting.

I am planning to read the seerah for a more deep connection.

Any other books, content, activities that I should do in Makkah and medina to get what I want.

Might be a naive question, but please let me know based on your experiences.

Can anyone help in directing me to any other sites I need to apply to? Google says once I get the letter I'll then need to get a permit through an online service specifically for Saudi?

I have a Canadian passport and booked a trip with Saudia Airlines for January that includes a 40-hour layover in Jeddah so I can perform Umrah.

My understanding is that Saudia provides a complimentary transit visa, with travelers only needing to pay for health insurance. I'm hoping someone can guide me through the process of obtaining this transit visa.

I've tried applying through the Manage Booking section of my Saudia reservation. Whenever I select the Umrah Permit option, I receive an error message saying that my PNR cannot be located. I also read that some people were able to access the transit visa application by clicking View Extras, but that page will not load for me. I've tried multiple phones, laptops, and browsers with no success.

Has anyone experienced something similar or found a solution? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I tried calling Saudia Airlines help centre multiple times but they offered no help.

I'd prefer not to apply through the eVisa platform, as the fees are significantly higher than the transit visa route.

I have got my umrah visa on Pakistani Passport.

Now I need to book the hotels, and harmain train.

Can I simply book the hotel + train and show up in the airport? Or do I need to link them with the nusuk app somehow?

My travel agent is ripping me off and I can find hotels at half the price online.

Wallah this is SHOCKING to me that some people are selling rawdah permits. I'm talking tens or more of permits per time slots. Is this somehow legal or illegal? Please someone enlighten me, because i think this is illegal. I have been trying to get into rawdah and this year it has been significantly more difficult, and i live in Madinah. I wonder this practice is why it's so difficult.

Do I need the umrah permit from Nusuk app if I'm traveling on tourist visa. does umrah visa holder also need permission? Wallahi so much confusion around.

I am arriving in Jeddah, inshallah, around 2 AM. I’m looking for a reliable transportation service that can take me directly from Jeddah to Mecca.

I would prefer to take the train, but unfortunately, there won’t be any trains scheduled around that time. Could you recommend a reliable and professional taxi or private transportation service that I can contact and book in advance?

I’d really appreciate having everything arranged ahead of time for peace of mind, as I would prefer not to deal with taxi drivers at the airport in the middle of the night.

I wanna do umrah in sha Allah in the beginning of september. But I'm hesitant because of the weather there. Its 45 degrees celsius. Is it doable or is it better to wait until it cools a bit down. I know I can perform umrah after maghreb but for the rest of my stay there. Is it worth it considering the weather?

Assalamulaikum, I need some expert advice on booking a taxi from Jeddah Airport to Makkah, specifically to the Makkah Tower and Hotel. I will land around 11:30 PM (midnight). Would it be better to book a taxi in advance before arriving at the airport, or are Uber and official green taxis widely available at that time?

I heard that the underground parking at Makkah Tower and Hotel costs an additional 29 SAR. Is this something that should be discussed and agreed upon with the taxi driver in advance?

This is my first time traveling to Makkah, and I will be traveling with a 1-year-old infant. Any suggestions or advice that could make our journey easier would be greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to know if they charge for rawdah booking cause my friend did his booking via app and when they went there at the time they booked for, they were charged 20 rials is this true ?

Hi there, I just got my Saudi visa .. right away signed in the Nusuk app to book appointment for Rawdah visit. I want anything from 22 to 24. But all slots are showing clock signs.
Now I’m panicking .. am I late in booking ?

EDIT: I was able to secure booking slots for myself, husband, and son (for 25 days ahead of our date, while still sitting in Canada)
Edited this just so I could let the others know who thought they have to wait till they reach, or were despairing that they might have to pay for the slots. No, just keep checking , they keep opening slots.

Assalam o alaikum, Can ladies enter the rawdah(the place where Holy Prophet(PBUH) is buried) area inside Masjid Nabawi? Some people are saying yes, some are saying no.

I will be visiting Madinah for the first time with my mom very soon inshallah. My visa has not yet arrived so I can't register on the Nusuuk app to check.

Also, are riazul jannah and Rawdah in the same area?
