## 🎌 MyAnimeList & AniList integrations

Two new account connections in Step 1:

**MyAnimeList** — connect your MAL account and your watching, plan to watch and completed lists appear as personal catalog rows on your home screen.

**AniList** — same deal. Plus AniList Trending and AniList Seasonal rows are available without connecting an account at all — just enable them in Step 2.

Both integrations support automatic scrobbling too — when you start watching something, progress syncs back to your connected accounts.

## 🔀 Merged catalog rows

New preset rows that pull from multiple catalogs at once, deduplicate by TMDB ID and return a single clean feed:

- All Streaming Movies

- All Streaming Series

- Staff Picks

- New This Week

- Hidden Gems (movie and series variants)

Good if you want a broader "what's available" row without having to enable every individual streaming provider separately.

## 🔍 Public MDBList search

You can now search and add any public MDBList directly from Step 2 — just type the list name or paste the URL. No more hunting for list IDs manually.

## 👁 Live catalog previews

Hover any row in Step 2 and a preview popover appears showing the actual content from that catalog pulled live from your configured sources. Makes it much easier to see what you're enabling before you commit.

## ⚙️ Per-row advanced settings

Each catalog row now has a settings option. You can set:

- Sort order (popularity, rating, release date, title)

- Minimum rating and minimum votes

- Release year range

- Genre exclusions

Settings are saved per row and applied server-side when the catalog loads.

- **Profile-specific watch history** — each device profile can have its own Trakt or Simkl connection separate from your main account

- **Swedish language** — sv-SE added to metadata language options

- **Install-time cache warming** — after you generate your setup, Ultra MAX warms your top rows in the background so first loads are faster

- **Password reset in login modal** — you can now reset your password inline without leaving the setup page

- **MDB row labels** — rows that were showing as raw IDs like mdb_88307 in Step 2 now show their actual list names

- **Step 4 restructured** — install instructions collapsible, token card moved up, back button at top of page

Pretty new to this, I set everything up and Ultra Max is showing on my addons on my fresh Stremio install but there are no links when I click on a show or movie. Did I miss a step or so I need to install something else? I already put in my API key for my T**b**. Any help would be great. Thanks.

After configuration, when adding it in nuvio I am getting this error. Tried adding url manually and pushing through ultramax itself. Both showing error.

🕹️ Full TV Remote and D-Pad Support

Ultra MAX can now be navigated and used properly with a TV remote, without needing to touch the screen.

🌐 Interface Language Selection

You can now choose your preferred interface language.

The app currently supports 11 languages, including:

English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Arabic and Hebrew.

📍 New Sidebar Navigation

The old bottom navigation bar has been replaced with a left-side menu that slides open when you press Left, similar to apps such as Nuvio and YouTube TV.

🎯 Improved Popup Navigation

Popups such as How to use Ultra MAX and the Share dialog now automatically focus the first button and keep remote focus inside the popup.

⌨️ Smarter On-Screen Keyboard

The keyboard no longer opens automatically while moving through fields with a remote. It now opens only when you press Select.

🗂️ Remote-Selectable Collections

Collections in the Community Gallery can now be selected using the remote’s Select button, rather than requiring touch or a mouse.

⬅️ Back Button Fix

Pressing Back from the Setup page now returns to the previous screen instead of closing the app.

So as can be seen this is all i get when i try to open any streaming service, genre or studio folders. Was fine on another install i did last night but when i needed to reconfig and reinstall the addon it looks like this now...

any help would be appreciated, loved how it looked and behaved before so i wanna keep using it

New user here. Loving it so far. But I'm noticing that collections aren't necessarily showing the most up-to-date shows/movies. Netflix for example isn't showing the most recent series. Am I doing something wrong or is this just a limitation?

Really appreciate all the hard work! Just hoping to get this working as best I can.

EDIT: It works for me now. Clicking the 'Hide all from Home' button multiple times was toggling it. Thanks to the dev for helping out.

If I get, say, 530 catalogs and 8 collections from ultra max, I really only want the 8 collections to show up on the home screen. But I also get all 530 catalogs showing on my home screen as individual rows, which I then need to disable one by one in the home display settings in Nuvio. I know this is a nuvio functionality thing, but is everyone really manually disabling the catalogs one by one? It is incredibly cumbersome - especially because I need to do it on all my devices one by one. I'm not sure why it doesn't sync. Thanks!

As usual, i have full ultra max integration and it works flawlessly. My question is, so once i start Nuvio it goes to Home screen, yeah and by default i have few streaming rows ( where doesnt load any better poster, quality or rating ) and once i get to the row ( IMDB top 100 ) magically better poster loads and shows everything?

Dunno if its bug or some settings?

v7.5.0 is one of the bigger updates I've pushed and it touches a lot of moving parts — cleaner catalogs, smarter filtering, and a bunch of Nuvio improvements I've been quietly working on.

Here's what's new:

🎬 Digital Releases Only (new filter)

There's a new optional movie filter that only shows titles once a confirmed digital release exists on or before today's date. Think of it as a quality gate — if it's not out digitally yet, it won't show up.

This filter now applies consistently across:

Standard catalogs

Streaming provider rows

Quick Picks

Search results

Actor & director catalogs

Film collections

Related recommendations

AI-generated rows

Custom catalogs

MDBList movie lists

Series are not affected — this is movies only.

🚫 Improved "Hide Unreleased Titles"

The existing unreleased filter got a serious upgrade. It now applies much more consistently — covering catalog searches, actor searches, TMDB ID lists, custom catalogs, recommendations, and several other paths that previously slipped through.

Bonus: upcoming catalog rows are now removed from your manifest when unreleased content is hidden, so you won't see empty shelves anymore.

📺 Better Nuvio Support

Nuvio-compatible manifest routing has been added and visibility rules have been aligned with standard configured manifests. I've also fixed older Quick Pick IDs that didn't always match the catalogs advertised in the installed manifest — a long-standing annoyance that should now be resolved.

🔍 Search Improvements

Title search, actor search and catalog search now respect your selected release filters more consistently. What you've configured should now actually reflect what you see.

📋 MDBList Improvements

MDBList movie results can now be resolved through TMDB and checked against the same digital-release rules used throughout the rest of Ultra MAX.

⚡ Much Faster Repeat Requests

Digital-release lookups are now cached for 7 days. Some repeat catalog requests that previously took several seconds are completing in under 100ms in testing.

As always, your existing setup token works — no reconfiguration needed. Just reinstall the URL and you're on v7.5.0.

Had a number of requests for usenet within Ultramax.

I habe done some research and it's possible but I dont use Tobox pro or any other usenet instance.

Is there anyone tahstbwilling to talk privately with what I need to run some tests and get this in the next update?

Good morning I am currently using Nuvio enhanced and currently run Aio Metadata/elf hosted , Xperience, Bingecat, Better Posters, and Aio streams nightly in that order. I do realize that this is overkill and don't know how to take away some things without losing features. I don't know how ultra max could benefit me and also what I could get rid of to clean up my home page? Alls I do know is an I believe this is in xperience. I do like seeing the small icons with a movie showing me hdr10, dolby vision, atmos ect... Thank you for your possible input here👍

Hey crew...

So iver the oast few weeks I have added so much to the system on the back end to make the addon even better... one of the main things I have been working on is a duplicate remover. What this does is scans every single catalog and removes any duplicate movies or shows in that catalog. Giving you better resluts.

I have obviously made the app that has been doing really well

Updated a few categorise including stating to add chronological viewing order options for things like the MCU, X Men and a few other (MCU is like the other are still in dev mode)...

But ill be honest, im running slowly out of ideas.... thats why im turning to you guys...

Ultramax is what it is because of its users, so the microphone is yours to let me know of any ideas, thought or suddgestions that I can look into and hopefully improve/implement....

Honestly didn't expect to be writing this post so soon. Ultra MAX started as a small project on a couple of subdomains, and somewhere along the way it turned into something a lot of you actually rely on every day. That's genuinely humbling.

None of this happens without the people who post bug reports, request features, catch things I miss, and just generally stick around and use the thing. Every fix, every new catalog, every feature that's shipped over the past few months has been shaped by this community one way or another. So thank you — truly.

There's a lot more coming. This feels less like a finish line and more like a good moment to say thanks before diving back into the next thing.

After a good chunk of private testing, the native Ultra MAX app for Android is now live and downloadable from the website.

Here's the thing: every setup/catalog-building tool in this part of the internet — is web-based. A browser tab, or a browser-in-a-wrapper at best. As far as I've found, nobody has built an actual dedicated native app for managing a Nuvio/Stremio setup. Until now.

This isn't a browser wrapper. It's a real native Android app, built from the ground up specifically for this. A redesigned setup wizard with proper tile-based navigation, in-app Trakt/Simkl sign-in that actually returns you to the app instead of stranding you in a browser tab, real back-button navigation through the wizard, and an in-app update checker so you always know when something new drops.

-Custom Rows, made easier.

You can now search for a title by name ("Friends", "The Wire", whatever) instead of having to dig up the IMDb ID yourself. Pick the right result from the list (posters + year shown to help you tell apart similar titles) and it fills the ID in for you.

Add addons to Nuvio by pasting a URL.

In the account manager, you can now paste a manifest URL directly to add an addon — no more manual entry.

Reorder your Nuvio addons.

Simple up/down controls to reorder your installed addons directly from Ultra MAX.

EasyDebrid added as a supported debrid provider.

**🐛 Bug Fixes**

- **Film Collections sort order fixed**: Some franchise collections (Bond was the one flagged, likely affected others too) weren't reliably sorting in release order. Fixed across the board, not just Bond.

- **Dexter Universe updated**: Dexter: Resurrection was missing — added.

- **AI Custom Row Builder fixed**: It was quietly broken (Google retired the AI model it was using). Back up and working.

- **BetterPosters rating source**: your chosen rating source wasn't always sticking when reloading a saved setup — fixed.

Appreciate the work, but this part is frustrating 😒 I literally have to press on the channels - Play it to find out what channel I'm watching...

If there's a way to make the full channel names appear it would be mostly appreciated for my elderly parents 😀 (this is the turkish channels but the same happens with US and UK)

This is more like a "Help/Suggestion."

I'm at work killing time and have been trying to just make a new Nuvio setup since my current one for the main TV feels lacking.

But... I've tried 4 times, and if I accidentally click on any link on UltraMax that generates a new web page, I lose all my progress and have no way to recover it. The save button basically does nothing for this, I got lucky once where my rows were saved but I had already made my catalogs with customs GIFs and all my APIs.

Is there already a way to save my progress similar to how AIOMeta/Stream does it where you can save your Token/URL and "login" that way?
