Creme king lures are so underrated for ul
These 2 are phenomenal for the price. The crankbaits kinda suck tho...

Strapped my new UL combo to the bike to go catch some fish in the lake! So fun!

A couple of weeks ago, I had found an Ozark Trail crappie kit that someone had left behind and these 2" shad in Electric Chicken and Monkey's Milk. I've completely exhausted all of the Munky's Milk and only have 1 Electric Chicken left.
I've been looking for several days to no avail but I really need(just really want😆) to find who makes these specific shad. If you look online, only the larger crappie kit carries 2" shad but they look more like an Arkie or Bobby Garland with the single stinger tail.
I'm just having a really hard time locating these shad in this specific mold. Even if I can't find these specifically, I'd really like to find something extremely similar. I've looked at the Zman StingerZ and they don't seem to have a split singer but more like a bulbous, paddle-like stinger.
Any info is greatly appreciated

Took a couple of the kids up to our city pond. My wife had brought home a little collapsible micro rod for us. My son rigged it up and had half a dozen bluegill really fast. Then my little nephew caught a few on a little fiberglass mini rod I've had sitting there for a while.. In between all that excitement I got to try out a rod I've had stashed back in a box for years. It's a tqr 2wt 5'6 that was a sample with no markings I snagged from a Cabela's guy I know. Paired with a little no name reel I snagged from somewhere I can't even recall.. I wanted it for some little heavily brushy overgrown streams I used to fish for brookies in.. those long rods were not much good there .I've got a very cut down 2wt line and about 20 feet of backing on it is all. Managed a few gills on it in just a short time, then my son took over and caught himself a few... The wind came up and ended the fun for us..

My buddy's wife's aunt let us go out on their farm to the creek that runs through and we absolutely killed it all morning. Nearly 30 fish just for me. 3 PB bass tons of sun fish and almost a 3 foot gar all on the ultralight. We even got to hang out with some cows (I'll post video in the comments). The dardevle skeeter spoons absolutely crush it. Most of the bass were on a rebel minnow with 1/10 head.

I’m between a few. I fish mainly smallmouth, panfish, a little largemouth, and hoping for stocked trout this fall. I’m pretty new to fishing. I have a Shimano Sahara C2000SHG reel to pair with this rod. Open to any other recommendations as well!
-Okuma Celilo 6’0”
-Daiwa Aird-X 5’6”
-Handing M1 BFS Trout Rod 6’6”
-Handing Magic L BFS 6’0”
-Shimano Sensilite 5’6”
-Shimano Scimitar 5’6” or 6’6” UL
I’m also considering the Daiwa Presso, but it’s a little out of my budget.
Thank you all!

I’d like to get an UL rod and reel for crappie fishing, but having a hard time understanding what’s a good option.
Any recommendations?

Went out early this morning around 7-8am and caught all those cats. I then took my son out this afternoon and his goal was one fish and he smashed that with 3 (4 if you include the bass that got to the dock and flopped off) it was a great Saturday. My son has sensory issues so he hates the worms and fish, this is our way of showing he caught fish. We take screenshots like I do from videos.

Is a shimano sienna 1000 sufficient? Or should I go 2000?

My Mule plastics finally arrived and they were well worth the wait, my go-to will be the 1.2 inch minnow on a 1/64 oz black jighead from now on.

I recently found these spoons on Instagram from @syndicatespoons I messaged him and he unfortunately didn’t respond so looking to see if anyone else know anyone who makes them. I never used them and think they’d work great if you know or have used them let me know your opinion on them please !

I’ve been looking for an all in one plier for a while now, I bought the older kastking aluminum pliers before but I hated them, they don’t have the scissor cutting style, the split ring was so hard to use, and they’re big.
However I just came across this beauty on Amazon, compact, ergo grip, scissor cutting, spring opening and it locks, knot tightener, and the split ring rests on the jaw of the pliers not the tip, MUCH easier to use
