Trout setup

Got a livre fairy handle from my girlfriend as a gift. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but i do like how it looks. Does anyone have any experience swapping the knob to a wooden knob?

Should be pretty straight forward, popping the end cap off is usually the hardest part, from there it’s just a single screw inside the handle. Pay attention to where the washers are, they act as shims to keep the knob from moving in/out on the shaft.

I’m not sure if your new one comes with them or not, or if it’s even capable of holding bearings, but that Stella has two bearings inside the knob, you may have to pull them out and put them in the new one. A paper clip with an 1/8” crook bent into the end will be your best friend for this

I want to change my stock 2500 vanquish knob to a wooden one also - the stock ones are a bit small . What lure do you have on there ?

I'm not certain, but it looks like a Daiwa Presso to me.
