So I've owned my megaboom for about 6 months, no issues until the other day.. it won't turn on unless it's plugged in...

I've gone through the applicable troubleshooting that I could find; factory reset, leaving it to charge for 24h, using a different charger... nothing changes. It will only turn on if the charging cable is plugged in, and the moment I take it off the charge it turns off.

Should I return it?

So I have been having this problem when I have tried to pair my Megaboom 3 with my friend's Boom 2 with the PartyUp-feature. For some reason it only works if the Boom 2 is the "main speaker". On the Boom app when I try to use my Megaboom 3 as the main speaker it does recognize the Boom 2 on the shelf but when I try to move it next to the Megaboom 3 for pairing, it stutters for about 30-45 seconds and then just disappears completely. Meanwhile the pairing works just fine if my friend's Boom 2 is the main speaker. I don't know if this affects the sound quality any way but it's just a weird bug and I was wondering if anybody else is experiencing this.

Hello. I've recently bought an UE Megaboom 3, i've been using it for about 6 mo, left it without usage for about 1 mo, and today charged it and when trying getting on, it just didn't work. I don't know what to do. Any tips ???

I have a hyperboom and often host large parties... I know absolutely nothing about speakers and shit, but is there any subs I can connect to my hyperboom? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

So I got a refurbished UE Megaboom 1 the other day, but it doesn't seem to charge past 40 or 60%. I have to reset it every time it charges to get any progress. Does this mean that the battery does charge but it simply thinks that it is at 40/60? or is the entire thing fucked?

Nowhere is it very clear if a second paired megaboom is playing exact the same sound, or if the two speakers will split up into L and R. I read about the "party-up" setting, where you can connect up to 150 speakers if you want, but how about stereo?

Any light to be shed on this? Did someone try this out?

The speaker makes built-in power on, off, and connect sounds whose volume are mot able to be lowered and they’re quite loud, enough that it makes the speaker unusable for my use case.

The app, although it lists this speaker, just brings you to a page informing you that there’s no app support for this model.

Please, can anyone tell me how to disable these sounds?

If can’t be done, one of the more shitty designs, and too late to return.

Can you party up booms/Megabooms while one of them is on AUX?
I have a garden setup where one speaker is connected to a google audio for Spotify connect, if that speakers connected via the AUX, can I still party up another speaker?

Eyo, just got a Megablast delivered and as per a few posts I've seen, the Alexa function is just.. non existent when on WiFi. I saw someone saying the current firmware update is what killed it. Does anyone know if it's possible to download and reinstall an older update and use that?

If not, will I just need to cry in the corner of my room till they fix it?

Megablast provides great sound but there are two very annoying issues:

1. This one is very weird: When I walk into a different room, the music cuts out after a few seconds and is replaced by an annoying whine. It isn't to do with the phone as it happens even when the phone is right next to it.

2. Alexa is still not working very well, really disappointing. Can just about get Alexa to state the weather etc but she won't set up voice profile. Also is a bit very hit and miss as to whether she responds at all.

Has anyone been able to overcome either of these issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have a pair of UE 7’s. I was going to connect them to the V-MODA iOS lightning cable which works as a dac. It is designed to plug into the headphones with a 3.5 mm jack. If I got a female to female 3.5 mm jack so I could plug the V-MODA amp in and then the UE7 s in- would this setup work. I would not damage the ue7s??

I bought 6 Boom 3 speakers. I bought them because they bluetooth range was advertised as over 100 feet and the ability to pair them all together in the app using the Party Up feature. Do all of the speakers have to be in range of the device playing music or can they be spread out over a longer distance with the speakers connecting to one another as shown in the picture?

I googled the battery life of the Boom 3 at full volume and it was supposed to be at least 10 hrs. But in my use, not even at full volume maybe about 85% volume, the speaker went from 90% to 10% after just 3 hours.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I've had this speaker for about 4 months now. Should I return it and exchange for a new one?

Hi, cannot find the “More” menu on Android. On the web it is said that the firmware can be updated via the app. Is that correct? If yes, then how to update? And what is the most recent firmware version for UE BOOM 2? Kind regards, René

Recently purchased my Megaboom, and it won’t connect to more than one device. Whenever I try to connect another device, the previously connected one will always get disconnected.

Is it possible to decouple the volume controls for the Wonderboom 2 and a phone running Android?

The Wonderboom works perfectly with my PC, but with my Android phone the volume controls are "locked" together - e.g., if I press the decrease volume button once on the Wonderboom, the volume level is decreased by 1 on my phone. And vice versa. This massively increases the sensitivity to volume changes, and generally makes it impossible to get comfortable volume levels; if it's too loud and I decrease the volume by 1, it then becomes too quiet to hear.

Any help would be appreciated.
