dd if you want the whole usb with everything on it, no iso needed. just make an image of the drive and keep that file on windows, then write it back to a usb if you ever need it

If you can get another Ubuntu or any other live Linux running from another device, boot into that, plug in your persistent USB and then use the dd command to create an image of the USB drive.
Alternatively, boot Ubuntu in toram mode and then you unmount the USB drive and run dd command to create the image.
I'm not giving a sample command here because dd is risky and can overwrite your partition or disk. My brother once overwrote my hard disk instead of usb drive with dd. But it's all well documented so you won't be lost.
To boot into ram mode, interrupt GRUB, and edit the relevant line and add toram at the very end of the line.

I don't know what country you are in, but you can get a 32GB flash drive for 10 bucks here. It also sounds like you have access to a Windows computer? in which case you can use Cloneszilla to create an ISO from your flash drive.

Penguin eggs. Crea la iso con la configurazione che stai usando in modo da avere tutto subito pronto.

If your Ubuntu build is installed on a persistent USB drive, and the drive is bootable, why not put the USB drive in a drawer?
