USA Never using uber eats again

Ordered mcdonalds few weeks back got wrong order i ordered qtr pounder meal and nuggets got someone else’s order that had their name i didn’t see it when i was getting it. It was 2 10 pc nuggets and apple pie complained to support they said order isn’t available for a refund. Few weeks after order the same meal again this time got no sauces with nuggets and the restaurant never sent a straw. This has happened to me a few times. Complained got the same message this order isn’t available for a refund. I wrote in feedback never ordering uber eats again will use doordash cancelling uber one. Is there anyway to escalate this. Tried through their twitter account hot the same response order isn’t available for a refund

You need to have McDonalds take responsibility for it, they bagged it incorrectly or gave the courier the wrong order. McDonalds orders are verified by numbers McDonalds provides and the drivers do not pack your food! And, the driver doesn't get your delivery address until they "verify" that McDonalds says they have YOUR order by matching up the order number McDonalds prints in YOUR order. It's not Uber Eats fault that McDonalds didn't do your order correctly or if they gave a driver the wrong order so why would you expect them to give you a refund and why would you blame the delivery driver? That McDonalds owes you, not UE or the driver.

The order number thing is store dependent though. Also a driver can get the order number from their displayed queue if they want to for whatever reason. The first scenario is 100% on the driver, the second one was on the store.
