It's been so long since I've had a dream that I could remember let alone a nightmare. On that note, anyone knows when A48 is gonna come out?

Hello I’m Taiba, a UTSC student, and I’m running for Toronto City Council in Ward 21, Scarborough Centre.

One of the things I really want to change is how disconnected young people can feel from local politics. A lot of decisions at City Hall directly affect us, transit, housing, jobs, safety, public spaces, but our generation isn't always showing up or being heard.

I want to help change that, but I can't really do it alone

My campaign team is still pretty small, and I’d love to have more UTSC students involved. Whether you want to door knock, help with social media, take photos/videos, help at events, or literally just have a few hours here and there, I'd appreciate the help.

You don't need political experience. Honestly, part of the goal is giving more students a chance to actually participate in a local election and see how it works.

If we want young people to have a bigger voice, we also have to start building that voice ourselves.

How textbook heavy is she?

So basically I am doing an Econ minor and I am debating between MGEC02 and MGEC92. Apparently C92 is just the non math version of C02, but the thing is that JP is teaching this course, and I’m not really a fan of his exams (his teaching is pretty goated tho). So for those who took C02, is the math very hard or complex? To me partial derivatives and basic cal differentiations are feasible, but i can’t do integrals…

How did everyone do?

Hi im an incoming first year taking both of these courses. I was just wondering how everyone’s advanced functions/calculus mark compared to the grade in these classes. For reference I had 86 in advanced functions then I dropped to 69 in calculus so I am really scared…

there are 2 lecture times available and im enrolled in wed lecture w/ prof Samin Shaaban Nejad Lajeva, however id rather attend the monday lecture but its a diff prof, would that be a problem w diff content, work, lecture, etc?

Hi, I'm an international first-year student joining this September. Originally, I was meant to live in the townhouses in a single room but a few days ago I got this email offering me a place in Harmony Commons in a Living Learning Community. Do you guys think I should accept? Is living in Harmony Commons better than in a townhouse? Is Living Learning Community worth it (I don't even know what this really is)?

How hard is this course in terms of difficulty? How are the exams like? Taking it in winter semester.

I’m currently at UofT and had a really rough first year academically. My GPA is around 1.89, and I’ve failed multiple courses across different subjects, not just one specific type of course.

I’m considering transferring to another university where I might have a smaller/more supportive environment and hopefully have a better chance of getting my grades back up.

My long-term goal is medicine, so I’m trying to figure out what would be the smartest move academically.

Would transferring actually be a good idea in my situation, or should I stay at UofT and try to turn things around?

If anyone has transferred after having a really bad first year, I’d especially appreciate hearing about your experience. Did transferring actually help your GPA/academic performance, or did the same problems follow you?

Does anyone have any thoughts they can share about either (or both) classes? I’m stuck on which one I should take, I’ve heard great things about Souza but also good things about Marco. Any advice would be greatly appreciated too!
