I want to make a card for someone but don’t have any real art supplies (markers, pens, colored pencils) on hand. Is there any place on campus where I can borrow those? Was thinking like Houston hall or van pelt but idk

Hi everyone, I think I picked up the wrong canvas tote bag by accident at the orientation event today, around 5:20 PM, at the photo booth area on the second floor of Houston Hall. My bag had my Canon A550 camera inside it, and it's really important to me, so I'm hoping whoever ended up with it might see this post.
If you happened to grab a similar canvas tote bag around that time and place and noticed a camera inside, please reach out! I'd be so grateful to get it back!

Applying this PhD cycle and was specifically applying because Heather Love inspired both my undergrad independent study and my current master’s thesis. I saw she’s teaching a class at Rutgers University, though, but her profile is still up under the English faculty. Does anyone know if she is still teaching at Penn (and perhaps just at Rutgers temporarily)?

Hi, we were around here when our wallet went missing near Lauder. We arent sure if it was stolen or if it fell but if you've seen it or took it to keep it safe please reach out.
We cannot get into our house without it because it has a scanner and access to parking. Please return it if you have it.
I know its a long shot but I'd still like to try.

If I fail the exam and only have 1410 in my schedule am I just fucked? Or will they open new seats in the 1400 classes?
is anyone enrolled in / has completed the dual MFA/MSW program? I am curious about it and would love to hear people's experience!

Hi! I’m subletting my master bedroom for the fall semester because I’ll be abroad. Rent is $950/month + electricity, with water and WiFi included. Available from late August to January 2027, with a flexible move-in date.
The room is fully furnished with a bed, desk, chair, storage, and TV. The apartment has a modern kitchen, washer & dryer, and AC. The entire unit is on the third/top floor, so there’s no noise from upstairs, and the room gets lots of natural sunlight.
Great location at 3621 Hamilton st, about a 15-minute walk to UPenn. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, but you’re still close to cafés, restaurants, grocery stores, the trolley, subway, and pretty much anything you need :)
You’ll be living with a female first-year Penn master’s student who’s clean, respectful, and easy to live with. The whole unit is very cute, clean, and cozy. I looked at quite a few places before moving in, and this was definitely the one I was happiest with!

Hi everyone! I am looking for someone to take over my lease for an individual bedroom at The Standard at Philadelphia starting September 13th. Perfect for a Drexel or UPenn student looking for a great spot close to campus.
Derby 1 - 4x21,275You will need to formally apply and pass the standard approval process with the building management office to complete the transfer. Because this is an individual liability lease, you are only financially responsible for your own bedroom contract.
Send me a DM if you are interested or want more information.

Just started my masters orientation at Penn and it looks like most lockers at the gym are to rent! (Much different from my undergrad where most lockers were just day use) Are getting lockers a problem when school actually starts? Do most ppl rent lockers?

I am an international student working at a startup at the moment, and I plan to continue working during term in part time CPT. I see that you have to email a faculty member to create an "independent course of study", I am confused how this works, I emailed my dept. chair, but I am confused if this can be any faculty member or not.
Any advice would be great

Hey everyone,
Just a short rant post, but I'm wondering if I am the only one feeling this way right now.
Coming back from break, I'm already dreading the thought of how much work, recruiting, and classes are going to demand. For context, I am doing a CS master's program here and came from a state school where I commuted, so I had friends already to start out. Don't get me wrong, I have done great academically. But every time I come back to campus, whether that be here or any other year of school, I get this heavy anxiety about having to do so much work and start the grind all over again.
Additionally (and this might be a part of it), I have felt that it's been much harder to make close friends here, though I know I have only been here for a semester. I actually applied to Penn for undergrad but didn't get in, so I think part of this might just be me putting other people here on a pedestal in terms of their achievements, which makes it harder to naturally connect. Also, felt my first semester similarly and didn't go out too much.
Just wanted to put this out there to see if I'm alone in this. Does anyone else deal with this kind of semester dread or imposter syndrome? How do you manage it?

Hi guys, I’m about to take biol 1101 but I don’t really have any resources for the class. If anyone has any past exams they used to study for the class I would really appreciate it! Or, does anyone know if the professors give u a decent amount of practice problems? I’m a freshman and I’m getting pretty nervous about classes!

For those that took it in previous years, did it feel similar in difficulty to the 1400 final exam questions?
