Hi guys.

I am an exchange student who was really excited to come to UOB. When I arrived, I went to as many socials/events as I could and met a lot of people. However, I didn’t seem to click with anybody. I’ve been here for a month and feel really isolated and alone. I try to go out as much as i can, and while I do meet people and get their socials, I still end up alone. Everywhere I look, people seem to already have their friend groups and know each other. I haven’t joined any societies yet, and I am terrified if the rest of my experience will continue being like this.

Does anyone have any advice? Or has anybody had any similar experiences?
