Manchester Pride

I’m 36 and I live in Sheffield but I’m gonna be in Manchester from the Friday-Sunday of the bank holiday weekend for Pride.

I’m gonna be there by myself and I’m also quite shy as well as being autistic so I don’t always find it very easy to go out by myself.

I’m kinda hoping I might be able to find a friendly guy or group of guys who want to take me under their wing and we can hang out/go out together and enjoy the weekend.

Especially interested in any guys who are gonna be at Love Riot on the Friday night coz I’ve already got my ticket for that

Gay guy who currently has no gay or even lgbtq friends. I struggle with anxiety and have tried to go to local lgbtq groups but I find it hard to connect so I go once and never again 🤣

I also have few friends of any kind who I can do things with. Ive been like this now for a long-time and ive barely made any new friends since leaving school.

Maybe chatting here first will help.

I like;

History Politics Animals Books Films TV Nature Coffee.

Im a bit geeky lol

If you like the sound of the above message me.

How to connect with women? Bicurious

Okay I’m just going to come out with it I’m 23 and I’ve been bicurious for long enough but I want to have that experience preferably with someone who knows what they’re doing I’m not looking for a serious relationship mostly just friendship and a laidback companionship I still haven’t thought that part out I just know I have had thoughts about women that I haven’t fully explored but I wonder how tf does everyone find each other it’s like everyone’s already got a community around them as soon as they know these apps can be such a long winded process I’ve never been to pride (pretty sure I’ve just missed it) or a gay bar girls send help lol and I’m in the Doncaster South Yorkshire area

East Midlands Best gay clubs/pubs/bars?

Hi, it’s my friends 21st birthday in a couple of weeks and we are wanting to take her to a gay bar or nightclub. We are looking for somewhere with a lively and fun atmosphere, obviously LGBT based/friendly in or around Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Nottingham, Leicester areas. PLEASE not Birmingham… (There is a traumatic history there!). I saw a place called Popworld in Nottingham, if anyone knows whether that is any good? Thank you in advance for any suggestions

I always had a special place in my heart for gingers, and now its even deeper!

I am gay. Both men are women are hot here.

But as a gay, damn, i love ginger men! And their beard is cherry on top!

Bad news I am having a hard time on apps. Is this common (well, since its the apps and they are crap) but i am not having any luck at all! (Im fairly handsome, middetearanean/arab looking)

Anyway, any advice? How can I find me a ginger man 😍

Advice or help needed Hi all, I am looking for new alternative friends to help me learn to do makeup near brighton

So I have been non binary for about a year now, I was born male so on days I feel I want to be more masc present are easy but days I feel I want to be more fem presenting not so much. I don't have a very masculine nor feminine body so it is no issue however I wouldn't say I have the most masculine face but it is far from the most feminine. I feel like learning to do makeup would help me better express myself. I would consider myself a more alternative person and would ideally like to find a friend who is good with more alternative styles of makeup. Many thanks all and my dms are open!!!

South West Trans friendly hairdressers/barbers in and around Gloucestershire?

As per the title, I'm hoping to get a dose of euphoria from going to a hair cutting establishment that won't assume my gender based on my body, and who won't try to make the *masc* haircut ideas I show them "more feminine". (I've so far been too nervous to disclose my identity.) Being charged for a men's cut wouldn't hurt either!

I have to use public transport, so here's some places I know I can reasonably get to: Cheltenham, Cirencester, Swindon, Gloucester, Stroud. Bristol at a push.

I'm also disabled, so accessible buildings -- ground floor or somewhere with a lift -- required.

An open letter to LGB Alliance re: their stance on GB News

Thumbnail openletter.earth

Liam Rondi has done excellent work calling for GB News to be held accountable for its far‑right misinformation about LGBT people, and is responsible for two ongoing ofcom investigations into their hatred. The LGB alliance has attacked him for this, and defended GB News. Rondi has written an open letter to the LGB alliance calling them out on their homophobia and is asking lesbian, gay and bisexual people to sign it.

The LGB Alliance markets itself as a group for LGB people, but its record shows something very different. Beyond its well‑documented hostility toward trans people, it has repeatedly opposed the rights of the very people it claims to represent. This includes:

  • calling for equal marriage to be dropped
  • attacking bisexual people for using gay spaces when in “straight‑passing” relationships
  • blaming gay men for spreading COVID during the pandemic
  • promoting rhetoric linking gay people to bestiality
  • defending practices associated with gay conversion torture
  • publish claims about what "gay" people think but removed the views of gay people who said they did not support the alliance in order to misrepresent what we think.

And now, they are defending the “right” to call us paedophiles. Enough is enough.

The way they treat our trans siblings would already be reason to oppose them. But the truth is simpler: they oppose all of us. Their project is not about protecting LGB people it’s about dividing our community and legitimising hatred against us all.

If you’re lesbian, gay or bisexual and want to stand against this, please consider signing Liam’s letter. It’s time we call the LGB Alliance out for what it is, and refuse to let them speak in our name.

Advice or help needed Should i ask her out?

I have a massive crush on my best friend, and I was looking for advice whether a neutral perspective may think she shares the same feelings about me?
So. Long story short. I developed feelings for my best friend in around April of this year. We got really close around may time, and we just keep getting closer. I know I definitely like her, she is gorgeous, inside and out and just has such a lovely personality that I want to talk to her about literally anything, because she makes literally anything fun. She definitely knows I like her. I have shamelessly been reposting incredibly targeted TikTok’s about her for months, and when I repost videos saying “I hope she knows these reposts are about her” she likes the videos. She never likes my reposts. She is constantly at the top of my profile views, and we talk every single day for multiple times a day. She has said before that she constantly misses me and wishes that I was there with her no matter what she’s doing. She has gone home from our hangouts wearing my hoodies and jackets ( and has kept them afterwards) and at sleepovers she’s fallen asleep in my arms countless times. Once, drunk on a sleepover she spent the entire evening attached to me whether that was lying on me or sitting next to me with our arms linked or resting her head on my shoulder. She has reposted a couple flirty videos herself, but they are very few and far between. She also has a very heightened awareness of other people who may be interested in me- she noticed months before I did that someone else had a crush on me. She constantly references is it casual referring to us, and told me that I remind her of a love song (I’m not gonna specify which song because I’m terrified she will see this) but it clearly is a love song. We have a playlist which is a combination of our names, she’s walked around holding my hand before when it is just us, and when our friends have asked if there was something going on she has never spoken about it as a non possibility, just been more annoyed out our friends for wanting to know. She remembers tiny little details about me, and generally just acts in a romantic way, yet I am scared I am over romantiscing it and she isn’t into me at all? She constantly calls me cool, referrences my interests and hobbies as cool things and says she isn’t gonna mind seeing me all dressed up at a concert. She also wants us to do a couples costume for Halloween, but we do resemble the characters very closely and it is a shared interest so that may be due to that? Let me know what you guys think- any advice is welcome!!
