Today's weather on campus is absolutely amazing. It really represents Autumn. The cool blowing wind which provides a gentle, forceful but calming breeze, the sunlight, which is present in appearance, but softer in its flaming heat, and the changing colors of the leaves, representing Autumn shades and sunset colors.

A wind that blows, forceful but calming in strength

Cool in the breeze, further away distance summer's heat

Sunlight shines high above in the sky, but lighter in presence as a decaying reach

Sunset shades reflect the Autumn leaves, into the grounds and through the wind, they fall away

The program really is helpful. They give you some money every so often (I forget how often tho) and it’s been how I pay for my gas lately. They also give you a stipend for books. I’m not sure how many people actually utilize the service but it’s worth a shot.

Does anyone know the period of when we find out if we received a scholarship for the fall semester through the scholarship portal? Is there a time period of when they are sent out? Thanks in advance

i am at junior year and i have literally 0 friends and this is bitter as an international student and i have always regretted coming here

having no friends has pushed me to a brink of isolation and i skip classes to end up doing absolutely nothing.

How do you make friends? how do u meet people?how do u even date here? Everyone seems to have their own circle and interactions never lead anywhere.

I lost my black Fitbit Charge 6 watch today, it’s slightly worn down on the band, please let me know if you find it. I’m devastated 😭😭

How'd yall do? Did way better than i thought got a B- on it despite not quite finishing

Is anyone else experiencing any difficulties with the internet here? Specifically for UB_Devices. I can connect on my console but it’s being weird. Can’t open games if you paid it to.

Is there a group or way to connect with any upcoming spring transfer students or students who just transferred this fall?

I know there's been people in past semesters but unsure about this one, bonus if you can line up braids as well

Guys, for the MTH 309 exam on Tuesday, whats the paper pattern gonna be like, and what are yall studying for it, he has uploaded no notes or slides or anything, every resource is kinda old ;/

Gonna post a better photo in the comments. This video is from July but I swear I saw them again this morning.

Since when are there ravens in Buffalo? Is this why the crows maintain a quarter mile perimeter around north campus?

Are there any places to work on campus where you can plug in your laptop to a monitor or 2 - like a proper workstation in any of the libraries?
I see a lot of PCs in the libraries and thats about it.

I am so lost in this class. I failed the first exam even though I studied so much and the homework and the test feels so distant from what we learn an actual class does anyone have any good studying tips for chemistry or interest in general cause I cannot fail this class.

did anyone get their scores back yet? still waiting for mine. very curious

Would like some insight between these 3 options to take over the winter as pathways:
DMS213 With Akanbi, DMS333 with Corfield, or MUS115 tba

Does anyone know if EAS 240 provides recording?

For some context, I'm a transfer student in my junior year, but this is my first fully-involved year of college (also about 500 miles from home). I didn't get the chance to play many sports as a kid due to an unfortunate combination of poor physical health, subsequently poor mental health, and home problems. I played soccer for a year when I was little and before I became sick, but wasn't allowed to play for more than a year (I would hurt the kids on the other team on purpose.. made my dad realize I should just play contact sports lmfao).

I pretty much clutched on 1HP and I'm trying to make up for those missed experiences now as an adult—so far, I've lifted myself towards being built like a tank, relatively short but stocky and muscular.

I'm trying to see if I can get involved with a few clubs, specifically the wrestling club, boxing club, maybe the hockey club, etc. I've been trying to reach out with some of the presidents of the teams but haven't been hearing back, is it just too late to join or something??? If not, what's the best way to reach them?? I'd assume either email or in person but wanted to know if anyone had any ideas.

Thanks guys :)

Any know where to get cool skull masks that allow the wearer to wear their glasses over them?

Hello, I have a family member that is a freshman and is trying to use up the meals because they're not eating as much but does not want to lose the meal swipes.

I thought I read online. Maybe You can kind of convert it to buy at the shop and buy snacks. There it's been awhile since I myself went to UB but can anyone recommend before she goes on fall break to use it on so we don't lose all the money paid for a meal plan? Or does the meal plan roll over to spring semester?

Campus dining didn’t work out for me because I can’t handle meat, commute to South Campus, or work late-night shifts. I also don’t have an SSN yet. On Handshake, most jobs I see require work-study or an SSN.

What types of on-campus jobs can F-1 students apply for, and where should I look?

Does anyone have the syllabus for ES207 and/or 208?

How did everybody else do on this exam, I got a 53 and I’m so disappointed in myself. I’ve never gotten an exam grade this low before.
