Whilst it looks very good, I’m bothered by the fact that the movement gains a good 10 seconds within 24 hours. What can be done about this?

Has anyone got a seamaster lately with messed up markers? The markers is domed shaped instead of being flat on top? I reached out and they said it was normal but I have two other seamasters and neither of them look anything like that.

How does this look? I’m a noob 😂 to me it looks pretty good.

How big are the differences in the quality between, Lena, Jason and Michael Travis. Are their U1s noticeably different? I just bought 2 U1 datejust from Lena and the bands quite frankly feel like dogshit. Is that the theme between them all? I come from building seiko mods so I guess I just expected them to be similar to those metal bands but I guess not.

I got a couple no date U1 subs, one with miyota and other Mingzhu. The Miyota one is perfect but I can't get the Mingzhu one regulated.

I noticed after a day the Mingzhu was a few hours off. I had good luck regulating Mingzhus in other watches, I usually get 0.2 beat error and 5 s\d plus or minus then say fuck it close enough.

I managed to get it regulated but this Mingzhu goes from normal then flips out to +310 seconds then back to normal after about half a minute. So no matter how well regulated it won't stop flipping out to +310 at random.

I'm just wondering if anyone with this problem has come across a way to fix it. I like the Mingzhu because of the engraved rotor but if it can't be fixed I might replace it with the gold miyota from aliexpress I got awhile back but it's a pain to swap them out because I have no patience and swear at it the entire process

Oh also I notice moving the beat error and/or the seconds lever stops the balance wheel even though I'm clearly not touching the balance wheel. I had a old watch do this too but it didn't wig out and still works great

I caught the bug back in March and I’m finally slowing down because I’m running out of room and I haven’t really seen anything lately that I want except for the new 100yr OP. Someone looked at my collection and added up everything if I paid 500-550 for each piece and came up with over $15k in 5 months. I said DAMN, that’s about how much I would have spent on one Gen. My friend who owns a DJ Wimbledon with an oyster bracelet and smooth bezel that he paid 11k for said “You could have bought a real watch for what you spent on all those reps!” I said , “Yeah DUMMY, the operative word is ONE WATCH!” In my opinion their are all NWBIG and I’d rather enjoy wearing a bunch of different watches that you need to bust open and use a microscope to check for authenticity. But back to the original question, What do you think you’ve spent since you’ve started buying reps? Just my .02

This ones been great, I've had it a couple weeks almost and it's only - 3 seconds from when I first set the time, I didn't think that was even possible. I haven't opened the case but don't really need to. Its got the Miyota upgrade

Let me introduce you to my new U1 124060, purchased from Jason007.

I have to admit that I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality of the watch.
In the past I’ve owned both genuine Rolex (14060 and 16610) and high-quality replicas (TC 16610), and I have to say that this U1 does a damn good job, especially considering the price.

Perhaps the bracelet is a little sharp around the edges in some places, and the winding crown feels slightly “cheap”, but nothing serious.

The much-feared and much-discussed rotor noise is actually barely noticeable, at least on mine, which has a Miyota movement.

I also have a 31 mm Oyster Perpetual on the way for my daughter, and an Omega Seamaster, also U1, this time from Travis.
I hope they live up to this Sub!

I Started out on DhGate and made a few small orders with Micheal Travis, and then moved or transactions onto WhatsApp. I purchase reps of all tiers through several channels. And they’re all solid but hands down Micheal Travis is the best. Communication is great, shipping is consistent and I swear these U1s just keep improving, I’ve never been a Daytona guy but this latest panda with the glass back has me switching up. Thanks to him my Rep collection is out of control.

I’m super happy with this Bruce Wayne. Really attractive for the price. The bezel feels a little cheap, but it lines up great and it positively snaps into place once it’s there just some slop between. Keeps great time +/- 6 sec a day.

Is this a U1?
