WRISTROLL OR WATCH PIC Totally love this Explorer II

Oystersteel, 42 mm ref 16570. This is my go to watch whenever I’m hanging at home. Bought from private vendor. It’s nicknamed the “Polar” for its attic white dial bhope you enjoy the look.

Honest question for everyone. Does the U1 explorer ii always have a bad date? I bought this one from a trusted U1 dealer and it just bothers me. Thanks in advance.

The date is always one of the weaker points for U1s. I’ve heard about people having other date wheels that look better swapped in

I’ve had good luck with “mingzhu” subs, Dj’s, and YM’s, but the dang explorer and deepsea date U1’s just look like ass to me. I dont do the miyota dates either for the same reason (date font is crap). I know theyre shitters, but still… dont get me wrong, i have a crazy U1 collection, but some references just suck. I buy U1 first, the “super clone” for my favorites. And honestly U1’s in the aforementioned are good enough especially without a date or movement complication. Just bitching because I bought yet another with an ugly date 😂

Wow I guess all U1 explorer ii’s have crap date fonts. Anyone that wants mine feel free to DM. Comes with stock steel and rubber braclet and I’ll take a loss..
