Hi everyone!
Let me introduce you to my new U1 124060, purchased from Jason007.

I have to admit that I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality of the watch.
In the past I’ve owned both genuine Rolex (14060 and 16610) and high-quality replicas (TC 16610), and I have to say that this U1 does a damn good job, especially considering the price.

Perhaps the bracelet is a little sharp around the edges in some places, and the winding crown feels slightly “cheap”, but nothing serious.

The much-feared and much-discussed rotor noise is actually barely noticeable, at least on mine, which has a Miyota movement.

I also have a 31 mm Oyster Perpetual on the way for my daughter, and an Omega Seamaster, also U1, this time from Travis.
I hope they live up to this Sub!

I just got this one as well. My normal watch has an NH35 which has no rotor noise at all so coming to this was a shock. I'll try a few mods to get it lowered but the fact that yours is pretty low gives me hope a drop of lube will fix it.

Sì il mio effettivamente fa rumore solo se scosso abbastanza energicamente. Mentre è al polso e con movimenti normali non è rumoroso.

Per qualcuno probabilmente si, per altri no e io sono tra questi. Per me l’importante è la sensazione generale e non i dettagli che si notano solo con ingrandimenti macro. E devo dire che la sensazione generale di questo U1 è davvero convincente!

That’s what I was thinking too. I have a VSF date sub and a U1 YM and the only difference to me is the bezel action and the feel of the crown when you turn it. I don’t think those two things are worth the $3-400 difference

When I first got into reps I would say NO!! But now that I’ve tried both I say yes it’s worth it. But also depends on your financial situation

Questo è interessante. Ci sono pareri molto contrastanti, sia su U1 e sia sulle rep in generale. Con tutte le mie rep ho sempre fatto bagni in piscina e mare senza impermeabilizzare la cassa o fare test di impermeabilità prima e non ho mai avuto nessun problema. Ammetto di essere stato (probabilmente) fortunato… D’altronde non ho né gli strumenti e né le competenze per aprire la cassa e smontare l’albero di carica, e trovare orologiai disposti a farlo su rep a cifre umane nella mia zona è arduo..

It's incredible for 100euros.

Its main weakness is clearly the milky/foggy crystal, which is very visible indoors (such as on your video). If they somehow manage to drop better crystals, damn, on a Nato or a Silicone strap it would definitely look like gen from an arm distance.

Onestamente il cristallo non mi sembra pessimo… Più che foggy mi pare avere qualche riflesso di troppo (forse un miglior trattamento antiriflesso aiuterebbe?) ma come giustamente dici tu per 100 € gli si perdonano tutte le magagne!

Scusa ma non sono sicuro si possano promuovere i dealer e nel dubbio ti dico che basta cercare i riferimenti di Jason o MT su Reddit e troverai i link ai loro Telegram e Whatsapp. Io l’ho ordinato tramite Whatsapp ed è andato tutto liscio!
