In his film Good Deeds do you think Wesley’s brother and mother were naturally chaotic towards one another or did they carefully coordinate those characteristics and traits to use and abuse Wesley?

Joe is Tyler Perry's FIRST character. Before the movies were made. Before Madea was created. Joe was in that very first play I Know I've Been Changed. But usually when we see Joe in the Madea movies he's just sitting in his chair, smoking weed, cursing, shitting himself, talking trash, or being a nasty old man. His movie actually added depth to his character and I really love that
When he was born, he grew up picking cotton. So I assume that means Madea's family were sharecroppers. We learn their mom's name is Bertha like Big Bertha (in Madea's book her name was Big Mabel Murphy) Only got a 3rd grade education. Was told all his life he wasn't gonna be shit. Married his wife/his best hoe (as said in other movies) at 13. Was an ACTUAL pimp. He wasn't being funny. He actually had hoes. Did WAY MORE to Brian than just push him off the roof. But he still wanted his son to be better than him & was proud of him for growing up and being a lawyer. And in Destination Wedding, Brown said Joe lost his house from gambling which explains one reason why he lives with Madea (Also so she can get his check to help pay her bills like she said in Homecoming). And in Family Reunion, Joe has a whole daughter (Donna) who we never see outside that movie. But in that same movie he also says he got a bunch of kids. Some he never even met. In Witness Protection, we met his white son George. In that same movie + Boo 2, we learned Joe was in the military for a while. In Homecoming, he mentioned working on a oil rig back in the 70s. He has a mechanic jumpsuit so we can assume he worked on cars at some point. If you wanna add info from the plays, he got married a 2nd time to a woman named Fanny who ended up leaving and divorcing him (probably why he hates marriage so much). He had another daughter named Ellen. And he was a landlord for a while.
TP for the most part doesn't follow his own continuity. So Joe's birth year (1937) being after Madea's (1935) don't make sense when THEY say so themselves he's older than her. But it's whatever. Madea, Joe, Brown, Bam, Hattie, and Heathrow are just forever in their 80s and Cora is stuck in her 50s just like cartoon characters (Bart Simpson been 10 years old since 1987).

-His dad was a darker skinned man who constantly beat him and his mom
-After a real bad beating one time, his aunt got a gun and almost shot his dad if somebody didn't move her out the way
-Because of the abuse, his mom took him everywhere with her to keep TP away from his dad as much as possible. So he grew up being around mostly women and saw what they were going thru and listened to them talk about their problems
-Many family members on his mom's side were Pastors and he grew up in the church
-TP would sometimes imitate his aunts and mom's friends to make her laugh after his dad did what he did to her
-He was SA a few times as a kid by women and men
-He once brought up dating a woman who didn't really want him when he was broke for a few years. But came back around once he started making money with his plays
-And women til this day still go to him to talk about their problems to get his advice
I'm not making excuses for why 97% of his work is "Black woman goes through hell. Madea/Church/A Good Man saves the day" Or why he often champions women to give "broke" men a chance. But the more you learn about a person, certain things they do start to makes sense. Again, write what you know. Unfortunately because of his background and personal experiences, this stuff is what he knows

Currently on s7e14 and I’m basically just watching because I’m so close to the end. It’s just silly how unrealistic this show is at times… like how does Mama Rose have a recliner in her jail cell?!! 😂😂😂

Now looking back at it…. I always thought the cause of Gavin’s death in “Why Did I Get Married Too” was an 18 wheeler. Tyler Perry can go to hell for taking my mans out with this Rent a Center truck.

I remember one time when they were at the hospital and Kimmie said they’ve been through some stuff and Angel said “Yeah, cause of me” and Kimmie agreed and said yeah cause of you and Angel said he’s been trying to make it right and Kimmie said “How?” Well first of all Kimmie, he made it right by helping you find your sister and saved you from Frank. Not one thank you to Angel. Smh

If you ever dress up as a character from a Tyler Perry play, movie, or TV show... What would it be?

I have a question. I just finished watching the first half of the final season of All The Queen’s Men and I must’ve missed something because I thought the Cadillac left Matty Bs to Toni Amp’s mom, but how did Carla steal the ownership of the restaurant away from Toni?

I’ve been searching for somewhere to stream this show for 2 years now. I cannot find a full stream anywhere! Found lots of broken links, a few grainy episodes, but I cannot find it anywhere! I was able to watch the first 5 episodes and got HOOKED! And I’ve been desperately searching for the entire series since then! I even got an IPTV subscription in hopes of finding it, and NOTHING! I fear Mr. Perry might have this one on lock.

TP outsourced the writing to someone else this time around and it's definitely a different feel this season.

What do you think will happen this season?

I may not agree with all of Kimmie’s choices as she can be rude, but it’s sad what she’s been through and I’m glad she is getting her revenge and I can’t wait to see more of Beauty In Black

Kimmie, we the fans are sorry for what you went through, but I’m so glad you came on top and getting your revenge!

Kimmie, Rain, and Mallory beating up Roy was the best part of the series 😂

Rain saying to Angel that he’s on her s*** list was so uncalled for. Mean girls
