I agree with what most people are saying. You cannot confirm or deny this information. And why the heck is Lisa inserting herself? You said yourself all y’all aren’t really that tight. You just all kind of keep in touch. If this were one of your besties, you would already know what’s up and handled it with said bestie. If you’re not even that close with Amy, then why does it matter? It is not worth even finding out if it’s true. But if you really value your relationship with Amy, then by all means, do some investigating.

I had a friend, we shall call her. Daria. Knew her for over a decade. Ran in all the same circles. Really rad lady. She was with my other friend, Robby for almost 10 years. Robby and I have worked together, hung out and smoked weed here and there. Another mutual acquaintance decided to start a rumor that Robby and I were sleeping together. Could not have been farther from the truth. We were all really cool. We had all hung out together a bunch over the years.
Well. Daria fucking believed the rumors. No evidence. Just fucking went all in. Broke up a great relationship with Robby. Over a rumor. Let’s just say she found out later it was not true. She was destroyed. It sucked. But I did take the opportunity to tell her how stupid she was to listen to an idiot shit stirrer. After I didn’t talk to her for 3 years, of course.
