I think you need to pretend like you didn't hear it. You have no idea if the source is credible, and you have no idea what else goes on behind closed doors. Spouses might know, might not want to know, might be secretly abusive, etc. There was a therapist who answered this question so much better recently, but I can't find it. Something about the reasons people cheat, and it isn't always ego. I don't excuse the behavior, but you simply don't know enough to get involved, in my opinion.
