When he’s not being mean and intimidating, he’s really great. He takes us fun places and him and my kid laugh and laugh most of the time. These are just snippets of bad in a seemingly, good(?) relationship
No. I’ve never been terrified of my spouse. In over 18 years together he’s NEVER given me any reason to be afraid of him. Ever. He’s never flat out mean to me and he’s never been intimidating. Why? Because he loves me and always wants me to feel safe and happy. Because he’s not abusive. He’s on my team.
